Who has screwed horns?

Markhorn goat is a representative of artiodactyl animals, like mountain sheep. It lives in the Himalayas and in Tibet, and feeds on grass and leaves. Mountain goats are stocky, densely built; looking at them, it is immediately clear that, unlike their relatives, mountain sheep, they are not capable of very fast running.

Indeed, mountain goats live where the rocks in which the animals hide and rest are combined with the lawns where they go out to graze. Mountain goats in danger rely not so much on the speed of their legs, but on the extraordinary ability to climb and gallop over the most incredible steeps.

On steep talus, where the slightest careless movement of unstable stones begin to move, threatening to drag along a landslide, the goats feel easy and confident. Using the slightest ledges of rocks, they overcome almost sheer slopes, moving equally freely both up and down.

What is the Renaissance?

Do you know what the word "Renaissance" means? This is the French word for "Renaissance". The Renaissance is the Renaissance that took place in Europe from the XNUMXth to the XNUMXth century. In the Middle Ages, which preceded the Renaissance, many things in life were rejected. During the Renaissance, education revived, trade, art, music, literature and science flourished.

The Renaissance changed the whole way of life in Europe. Until that time, people lived in large estates, estates. There were very few cities. All social life was concentrated in knight's castles or bishops' palaces. Europe was divided into countless little states, each ruled by a prince or duke.

During the Renaissance, life changed completely. In connection with the development of trade, industry and commerce, cities grew rapidly. Wealthy merchants became very important. Instead of numerous small states, large ones arose. Nations began to form. People started minting money. Faith has also been questioned. People became more interested in the events in the world and less concerned about the afterlife. A rebellion arose against the foundations and ideas of the Roman Catholic Church, a reformation movement appeared, which led to the establishment of the Protestant religion.

The Renaissance did not come about suddenly, although it is sometimes associated with 1453, the year Constantinople fell to the Turks, or 1440, when printing was invented. Nevertheless, over the centuries, the forces that contributed to the emergence of the Renaissance grew.

The Renaissance reached its highest development, first in Italy, and then spread to other European countries. A large group of great artists appeared in Italy, among them Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Botticelli, Cellini and others, whose work we admire to this day.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

The Black Shark 2 smartphone is equipped with a 6,39-inch Samsung OLED display with Full HD + resolution, HDR support, a frame rate of 240 Hz and a fingerprint scanner built into the surface of the matrix. In addition, the developers have implemented Magic Press screen pressure recognition technology, thanks to which the user can independently assign soft buttons to the corners of the screen for greater convenience of the game. Such buttons will be triggered by pressing the screen more strongly than usual. Among other things, Xiaomi has worked on optimizing the characteristics of the display for gaming needs, as a result, color reproduction has been improved, the flicker effect has been reduced at low brightness, and the touch layer response delay has been reduced to 43,5 ms.

As a hardware platform, Black Shark 2 uses a powerful eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with a track cluster system, on which the most powerful Kryo 485 core operates at a frequency of 2,84 GHz, three "middle" cores at a frequency of 2,42 GHz and the remaining younger ones at frequencies of 1,8 GHz. The GPU Adreno 640 is responsible for graphics processing, which is 20% faster than the similar system in the Snapdragon 845. Naturally, the developers installed a reinforced Liquid Cool 3.0 cooling system with a copper plate and a heat pipe, and a special Cooling Case with a fan will also be available, which is additionally will reduce the temperature of the case during the game.

For the basic version of the model, a configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of data storage will be offered, a more advanced version will receive 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The battery capacity is 4000 mAh, it supports 27W fast charging. The main photo block is assembled from 48 megapixel and 12 megapixel cameras, a 20 megapixel selfie camera and a pair of stereo speakers are installed on the front panel.
