What is plastic surgery?

Most of us know that plastic surgery is done to people when their nose is damaged, or in order to make any other changes to the face. In fact, these are cosmetic surgeries that are an integral part of plastic surgery.

Today, with the help of plastic surgery, they can correct birth defects, do skin grafts after numerous burns or other injuries. Plastic surgery has been practiced in India for thousands of years. The criminals' noses were cut off as punishment!

In India, using plastic surgery using the skin of the cheeks, noses could be reconstructed. For plastic surgery, the skin of the body is used. It can be taken from a specific part of the body. Waste tissue may be removed or new skin may be attached. In operations, all three methods can be used together. When skin is removed from one part of the body and reattached to another, only the top two layers are usually used so that the skin can better settle into place. The circulation of blood through the new blood vessels keeps the skin alive.

If a thick layer of skin takes root after some accident or burn, then the chances of success of the operation are small. But if this happens, it will look much better than before the operation. Plastic surgery can help people look normal again, live and work happily.

However, people very often undergo plastic surgery solely to change their appearance. They can change the shape of the ears or nose. In some cases, with the help of such operations, wrinkles are removed from the face, so to speak, they "tighten" the face. In such cases, the changes are only temporary. After a while, age will make itself felt.

Which animals have a funeral ritual?

Of all animals, except for humans, only elephants have some kind of funeral ritual. After the death of one of the elephants of the herd, the relatives first try to lift it with their trunks and trumpet strongly, and after a while they fall silent and begin to throw tree branches and earth on top of the body. Then for several days the animals do not leave the deceased, observing silence. There are cases when elephants try to bury people in a similar way, and sometimes they mistakenly consider a sleeping person to be dead.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

MiniSKiiP with thermal paste application 25.05.2007

SEMIKRON offers its customers a new service: the supply of MiniSKiiP miniature IGBT modules with a pre-applied layer of thermally conductive paste. This option allows you to simplify the installation process by eliminating an important and critical technological step, improve the thermal performance of the structure and ensure a high repeatability of the production process.

To ensure high stability of thermal parameters, SEMIKRON uses heat-conducting pastes from leading European manufacturers: Wacker P12 (silicone-based) and Electrolube HTC.

The new option provides the following advantages: quick and easy installation of modules on the heat sink, the ability to automate production; optimal thickness of the paste layer, reducing the risk of damage to the MiniSKiiP ceramic base; optimal paste distribution in the gap, uniform heat dissipation, minimum thermal resistance; good temporal stability of thermal characteristics.
