How fast does hair grow?

In men who are prone to baldness, hair does not grow fast enough. Boys seem to grow hair too fast.

The rate of hair growth is actually measured and is about 12 mm per month. Hair does not grow at a certain rate every day, but still follows a certain rhythm. Hair grows slowly at night. Growth accelerates during the day. Between 10 and 11 o'clock the rate of growth is greatest. Then the decline comes again.

The peak of growth occurs between 14 and 16 hours, then growth slows down again. But these fluctuations in growth are so small that they cannot be noticed. Don't expect to see in the mirror how much your hair has grown in a given amount of time. If all the hair on the body grew the same way as on the head, then it would be possible to calculate how much hair grows on the body. Such hair would grow at 3 cm per minute, and by the end of the year they would be 59 km long. Not all people have the same amount of hair.

Blondes have thicker hair than brunettes. People with red hair have a small amount of hair, and they are less durable.

Do I need to take vitamins?

Vitamins are a group of substances found in food. They are required by the body to maintain life and health. So, naturally, many people wonder: Am I getting enough vitamins and am I getting all the vitamins I need? And despite the fact that the body needs a very small amount of vitamins, people's concern about this is not unreasonable. This is due to their diet, that is, the food they take.

A person who consumes a variety of foods receives all the vitamins known to him to this day (with the exception of vitamin D). The problem is that some people don't choose their food well enough, don't diversify it enough, and don't consume essential vitamin-rich foods. And here's the answer to the question posed in the title: no, you don't need to specifically take vitamins if you eat right.

The fact is that most vitamins cannot be accumulated by the body, and therefore it simply gets rid of their excess. Some vitamins are even harmful in too high doses. This applies to vitamins A and D when taken in tablets or capsules. Which vitamins are found in which foods? Here is the most general information.

Vitamin A, good for eyes, skin, teeth and bones, is found in vegetables (greens and root vegetables), fruits, eggs, liver and butter.

B1, useful for the nervous system and digestive organs, preventing some diseases, is found in wholemeal wheat bread, cereals, pork and liver.

B2 is found in milk, greens and lean meats.

Vitamin C, useful for body tissues, bones and teeth, is found in citrus fruits, tomatoes and raw cabbage.

Vitamin D is found in milk and is also produced in the body when exposed to sunlight. Here is what can be said about several of the most important and necessary vitamins for the body.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>
