What to prevaricate, we all in our hearts consider ourselves artists and excellent photographers. Moreover, at present, this does not require special skills - just press the button on the camera. But this is only apparent simplicity - in order to take a really good picture, you need to know some tricks that professional photographers use. Otherwise, you may be very disappointed with the resulting image.

It is known that photographing children and animals is the most difficult, because they are so restless and spontaneous. But we want these moments of our life to be preserved and bring us joy for a long time to come.

One of the most common mistakes is that we usually stand too far from the child. And as a result, we get a photograph of a landscape with a child somewhere in the distance. Photographers know that the first thing the eye rushes to is the brightest and lightest spot in the photograph. And rather, it will be the white sand of the beach than the face of a child in the waves of the sea. Therefore, in order for the picture to be successful, you need to get up as close to the child as possible. Ideally, shoot so that the child's face occupies the entire space of the photo. Bend over, sit down or lie down on the floor so that you are at the same level with the child, this is necessary for better eye-to-eye contact. And if it seems to you that you are standing just as close as you need, move one more step closer to the child, because modern cameras are designed in such a way that they automatically move the object being shot away when shooting.

The best light source is natural sunlight. The flash discolors facial features. If you are shooting indoors, then do it without a flash, in good sunny weather, placing the child near the window.

Another mistake that parents often make is that they strive to dress their child as pretentiously as possible, putting on him the most magnificent dress or even a fancy dress. As a result, in the photo behind the elegant frills, the child's face is completely lost. Moreover, the face and hair seem too simple and ordinary. But, when shooting a baby, we strive to emphasize just his individuality and originality of these childhood years. Dress the child in a simpler way, so that, first of all, the one who looks at the photo pays attention to the child's face. Try also to take a baby photo in black and white, with digital cameras this is easy to do. You will be surprised how successful such a shot can be from an artistic point of view. Black-and-white photos come out especially well, in which the child is in diapers alone.

When taking a picture, think like a camera. We see the world in three dimensions, while photographs are two-dimensional. Therefore, in amateur photographs, for example, a tree branch often sticks out, as it were, from a child’s ear or a table lamp grows from a head. Always pay attention to what exactly is in the background, and how these objects will appear in the future photo.

In order to capture the good moments in your child's life, you do not need to put him in a pose. The best pictures are obtained when the child behaves naturally. Play paparazzi, watching the child and waiting for the right moment, and take as many pictures as possible. Professional photographers know that in order to get one good shot, you need to take a whole bunch of photos. It is especially important to shoot newborns often - after all, children grow so quickly. Try not to miss the slightest detail: shoot separately small arms and legs or what a funny face the baby has when he sleeps. We guarantee that in a few years these will be your favorite photos.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Material for creating an artificial brain 15.06.2021

Scientists have found an opportunity to create an artificial synapse to solve problems similar to the human thought process. Today, many options are offered for this, and one of the most promising is seen in ferroelectrics. FeRAM memory has been produced on such materials for 20 years, and a new study shows how to make memory elements of atomic thickness and get closer to neuromorphic calculations in the size of a processor.

In commercially available FeRAM memory, the switching element is usually made of a piezoceramic, namely lead zirconate titanate (PZT). The property of the material to maintain polarization even after the removal of an external control signal - an electromagnetic field - gives the FeRAM memory its most important property of energy independence. It retains data even when the power is off. To imitate the work of the brain - this is extremely important. But in its current form, the FeRAM cell is too large and the "brain" with its use will be very, very large.

For the manufacture of artificial synapses, thin-film structures a few atoms thick are convenient - this will give small dimensions, high density and low power consumption. It turned out that hafnium oxide (HfO2) is a rather promising ferroelectric material for thin-film artificial synapses. This material is perfectly deposited from a gas environment using modern methods for creating thin-film structures with high precision and under reliable control. The temperatures of the film making processes are compatible with the CMOS process technology and will not burn the chip elements during the chip fabrication process.

A certain problem was that the ferroelectric properties of HfO2 are relatively unstable, but the addition of zirconium (Zr) to it solved this problem. Thus, the hafnium-zirconium oxide (HZO) compound has proven to be one of the strong candidates for memory fabrication using ferroelectrics and promises to revolutionize the field of memory computing.
