Something with my memory has become

Rozhdestvensky R.I.
Rozhdestvensky R.I.

Phraseologism: Something happened to my memory.

Meaning: Usually used as a playfully ironic apology for forgetfulness.

Origin: From the song "For That Guy", written by composer Mark Fradkin to the verses of the poet Robert Ivanovich Rozhdestvensky (1932-1994) for the film "A Minute of Silence" (1971, director Igor Shatrov) based on the novel by writer Anatoly Rybakov: "Something has become with my memory , // What was not with me, I remember..."

Random phraseology:

At the samovar, I and my Masha.

Meaning:

The phrase is a symbol of home comfort, simple human joys (jokingly).

Origin:

From a song written (1931) by the composer, playwright, translator and poet Faina Markovna Kwiatkowska (1910-1991) for the Warsaw cabaret "Sea Eye". The song was first written in Polish, and in 1931 the author translated it into Russian: "At the samovar, I and my Masha. // How nice it is for us to be together with you! // And pies, and buckwheat porridge! // Today we have enough we'll have a cup of tea." Thanks to L.O. Utyosov, who included this song in his repertoire, it became very popular in the 1930s and 1940s, and even several anonymous folklore versions of it were born.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>
