Phraseologism: Columbus egg.
Meaning: A witty solution to a difficult problem, an unexpectedly simple and bold way out of a predicament.
Origin: The expression originated from a Spanish folk anecdote. The sages tried in vain to put the egg upright on the table. But only the simpleton Juanello guessed to hit the end of the egg on the table - the shell cracked, and the egg was set. This is where the expression Huevo de Juanello "Juanello's Egg" comes from. Benzoni in his "History of the New World" (1565) relates this anecdote to Christopher Columbus. In response to the ironic remark that the discovery of America was not very difficult, Columbus suggested that his interlocutor put an egg. When he failed, Columbus himself put the egg, saying that it was not difficult. According to the last story, the expression Columbus egg entered a number of languages.

Indian startup Cellestial E-Mobility, a subsidiary of Tube Investments of India (TII) and Murugappa Group ventures, has officially unveiled India's first electric tractors.

"Electric tractors are designed for use in the field, as well as in gardening or greenhouses. The machines are equipped with an Indian household socket for recharging. Electric tractors can cover a distance of up to 75 km on a single charge and reach speeds of up to 25 km / h. Charging the battery of the electric tractor is carried out using a basic household charger from a conventional single-phase 16A socket, this process takes about 6 hours.
At the same time, thanks to the industrial charging station, the battery can be charged even faster, for example, in just 2 hours. The tractors are also equipped with regenerative braking and power inverting functionality, allowing them to power their own UPS for backup power.
