How to reveal to the audience the secret of the trick, but so that it succeeds only according to your desire.

Focus secret:

To do this, you use a deck of 32 cards, from which you have one card of each suit hidden in your pocket. Spectators must be sure that all the cards are in the deck.

You say that you are ready to share with the audience the secret of the trick. Lay out the cards face down according to the method of picking up pieces. This means that you place one card of each suit on the top row. Lay cards four in a row. Each next row begins with the suit that ended the previous row, and the second card is the same suit as the first card of the previous row, and so on. Then you collect cards in vertical rows from the bottom card to the top, starting from the lower right corner. Such a deck can be shuffled many times, anyway, putting the cards into piles of four, we will see that each contains four cards of the same suit.

This trick must be performed quickly by laying out the cards so that the audience does not guess that there is some kind of system in this. The second time you perform the trick, you explain the trick to the audience and invite someone in the audience to do it. The viewer performs a trick and everything works out for him. You can allow another viewer to perform the focus. When the audience is convinced that the trick is very simple, then you tell them that it worked because you wanted it to. For proof, you say that the next viewer will fail this trick. There is a spectator who is ready to try.

You hide the four cards that were in your pocket in your palm and find an opportunity to put them with the rest of the deck. The poor spectator can try as much as he wants, but he will fail, because this trick works only with 28, not 32 cards. The spectators may think that you have removed a few cards from the deck, but you can safely let them count the cards. No one will guess that the trick was performed with an incomplete deck.

After the failure of several spectators, you again find an opportunity to hide one card of each suit in your pocket. Then you say that you are allowing the trick to succeed. And the focus really works.

But you must be prepared for the fact that someone decides to count the cards when the trick succeeds. You will offer to count the cards yourself and, taking them in your hands, add to them those cards that you quickly transfer from your pocket to your palm.

After that, after counting the cards, you do the trick yourself. Lay out the cards as before. But you start collecting them a little differently. In a 32-card trick, you take the bottom cards of each row together and place them on the front of the deck. Let's assume that on the bottom row there are cards: jack of spades, ten of diamonds, ace of hearts and seven of clubs. You stack the cards like this: the jack is placed on the ten of diamonds, face down, the ten of diamonds on the ace of hearts, and the ace on the seven of clubs. The seven of clubs takes place on the front side of the card of the last or right row. You'd better put all four rows close together so that they converge a little at the bottom. Start collecting with your left hand in the right order. During the collection of cards, you are not looking at the cards, but talking to the audience. Take the audience's attention away from your hands. You can start performing this trick in public only if you learn how to collect cards in the right order without looking at your hands.
