Focus Description:

There are four multi-colored rings on the performer's table. He takes each of them and places them in the palm of his left hand, on top of each other in a pyramid.

Then the magician covers this pyramid with a handkerchief. Approaching the table, he takes a metal cylinder and puts it on the pyramid over the handkerchief. When the performer removes the top hat, the pyramid is above the handkerchief. The magician puts the top hat on her again and raises it again; "pyramid" again "gone" under the scarf. The performer pulls it off, removes the rings from his palm (each separately) and puts them on his table.

Focus secret:

The props for this trick must be made by yourself - it is simple.

First of all, you will have to prepare four wooden rings of different colors, each 1,5 cm high, 1 cm wide and 6 cm in diameter (Fig. 17).

Then it will be necessary to make a cylinder cap 9 cm high and 7 cm in diameter from thin sheet iron. To make it look good from the stage, it should be polished to a shine or chromed. The inner walls of the cylinder are painted black.

But besides this cylinder, you will need another one - a secret one. It is made of thick cardboard 8 cm high and 6,5 cm in diameter. This hollow cylinder is drawn into four equal parts and each part is painted, respectively, in the color of one ring in the order in which the rings will lie in the palm of your hand.

Before demonstrating the trick, the performer puts the rings on the table, and next to it puts a metal cylinder, inside of which there is a second, secret cylinder. Having made a pyramid of rings in the palm of his hand, the performer covers it with a scarf. Then he takes a metal cylinder so that the secret one does not fall out of it, and puts this cylinder over the handkerchief on the pyramid. When the magician removes the shiny top hat, a secret top hat will appear above the handkerchief, which the audience perceives as a pyramid of rings.

After that, the performer does the movements in reverse order and removes both cylinders from the handkerchief together. The fictitious pyramid has disappeared. A handkerchief lies on the magician's hand, and under it is a pyramid of rings. The performer pulls off the handkerchief and puts the rings one by one on the table.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Mobile phone RF protection 23.06.2002

The Hong Kong company Group Sense developed the Greenphone e688 mobile phone, which tried to radically solve the problem of protecting the user from radio emission by dividing the device into two modules, the connection between which is carried out using Bluetooth technology.

One of the modules - eFone - combines a display, a handset and a keyboard, and the other - eBox serves to accommodate a SIM card and contains a transceiver. This module can be located by users in such places that the radiation exposure from it is minimal.
