EFFECTIVE FOCUSES AND THEIR CLUES Money factory. Focus Secret Directory / Spectacular tricks and their clues Focus Description: The artist shows the audience a small machine with two rollers, turns the handle. The lower roller rotates in the same direction as the handle - clockwise, and the upper one - in the opposite direction. Taking several pieces of paper of different sizes from the table, the performer shows them to the audience. The paper is thick and clean. The magician puts one sheet between the rollers from the back (away from the audience) side and begins to turn the handle. Suddenly, the piece of paper turns into a credit ruble ticket in front of everyone (Fig. 45).
Continuing to turn the handle, the illusionist takes out a ruble from the rollers and, having shown it to the audience, puts it on the edge of the table. Then he takes another, blank sheet and, passing it through the rollers, again takes out a ruble credit card. The performer asks the question: "What will happen if you turn the pen and do not put the paper?" - and scrolls three turns. Nothing comes out of the machine. "What happens if you put it in the car?" Immediately, as if by mistake, the magician puts a ruble credit card into the typewriter and turns the handle. A blank piece of paper is shown from the rollers. "That's what distraction leads to! I'm putting the paper back!" - says the artist. Turns the handle again. A ruble credit note appears again from the typewriter. The performer takes a piece of paper from the table and compares its size with the ruble. The paper turns out to be slightly larger than a credit card. The magician puts it in the typewriter, turns the handle. A credit card of 3 rubles comes out. Then, taking sheets of different sizes, the illusionist receives credit cards from the typewriter in denominations of 5, 10, 25, 50, and then 100 rubles. Having collected all the money, he carries them to show the audience. With the help of the same typewriter, at children's performances, you can "turn" blank paper into artistic postcards depicting characters from fairy tales - Santa Claus, Pinocchio, Doctor Aibolit, etc. The postcards are then distributed to young viewers. Props: The machine, consisting of a machine and two rollers with a fixture. Paper cut to size for credit cards or postcards. Credit new tickets of the required denominations or postcards. Focus secret: The secret of the focus is clear from Fig. 46, A and B, which schematically shows the arrangement of the rollers. Their diameter is 1,5 cm, length is 20-25 cm. A thick paper cloth is wound on the rollers (preferably black).
One side of the fabric should be darker than the other, then both rollers will be of a different shade. The width of the fabric tape is 20-25 cm, the length is 2-2,5 m. The tape is glued to one roller, then wrapped a little; the second end is glued to another roller and also wound around it. In Figure B, the dotted line shows: at the bottom - the paper laid in the rollers, at the top - the pledged credit cards. The upper roller has an axis with a diameter of 5 and a length of 12-20 mm, the lower one has the same axis on the left side, and on the right - an axis with a length of 55 mm. All axes are inserted into their respective holes in the beds, after which the handle is fixed. If you turn the knob clockwise, the lower roller will rotate in the same direction, and the upper roller will go in the opposite direction. Charging the machine must be very accurately calculated and carefully worked out. Charging is done behind the scenes. Approximately 3/4 of the tape is wound on the lower roller; then they put between the rollers from the side facing the audience, a credit card of 100 rubles. Helping with a hand, roll it inside the upper roller, rotating it clockwise. Turn the top roller another half turn. This makes it possible to pause between the appearance of credit cards and at the same time not to stop turning the handle. The performer will know that as soon as a bill comes out of the machine, the next one should appear after half a turn of the handle. After half a turn of the handle, the next credit card of 50 rubles is rolled up into the upper roller. In the same way, 25, 10, 5, 3 and 1 rubles are sequentially put into the machine. After a new half-turn, they roll up a clean piece of paper the size of 1 ruble and make three full idle turns, then roll up another 1 ruble, again half a turn empty - and another 1 ruble. Now they are already doing three idle turns - and the machine is fully charged. Getting to the number, you know that if you turn the handle clockwise, then nothing will come out of the machine for three turns. You make these three turns completely at ease, not paying attention to the spinning rollers, while showing the audience a clean piece of paper in the ruble format. As soon as the third turn of the pen comes to an end, insert a piece of paper between the rollers from the side farther from the audience, and quietly follow the moment the tip of the ruble appears. Immediately let the paper into the rollers, continuing to turn the handle. Viewers from the side it seems that a piece of paper in rollers turns into a credit card. It is necessary to ensure that the piece of paper exactly matches the position of the credit card (see Figure 45). As soon as the ruble falls out, stop turning the knob. Having shown the ruble to the audience, take the second piece of paper in the ruble format and, comparing it with the ruble and making half a turn with a pen, put the piece of paper between the rollers. Continuing to turn the handle, by the end of the third turn, say: "What will happen if you put it in the machine?" - as if by mistake, put a ruble there, and a clean piece of paper comes out of the rollers. Then everything goes according to the description. Perform the trick cheerfully, at ease, strive not to look intently at the rollers. Always memorize accurately and calculate the charge so that each performance runs smoothly, without disruption. Author: Vadimov A.A.
