First of all, you need to learn how to palm, that is, hide the ball in the palms of your hands. This skill is achieved through daily hard training. The most convenient for this are wooden balls with a diameter of 35-40 mm with a matte finish. Brilliant paint should be sanded with a thin sandpaper. You can always have such a small ball in your pocket and train your hands in a free moment. Lightweight celluloid ping-pong balls are not suitable for this. The palms of your hands should be dry - it is good to wipe them with rosin powder beforehand.

On a horizontal palm with the back facing down, finding a comfortable place, place the ball, as shown in Figure 10. Now try to pinch the ball with the muscles of the palm, while moving only the base of the thumb, keeping the other fingers motionless.

When, after several trainings, you learn how to do this, you will be able to hold the palm with the ball clamped in it facing down, and freely lower the hand along the side. After that, learn to move the fingers of this hand, take other objects in them, while firmly holding the ball palmed in the palm of your hand.

It goes without saying that the magician always holds the hand with the object palmed in it so that the audience does not see this object.

When you have learned to palm the ball securely and quickly in the palm of your hand, learn the following manipulation. Holding the ball with your fingertips, as shown in fig. 11, A, with the help of the middle and ring fingers quickly pass (pass) it into the palm (Fig. 11, B) and palm it there, as described above. Learn to do this pass clearly and quickly. This manipulation is called single passaging.

Both of these manipulations are used to "disappear" the balls. When the magician needs to deceive the audience by pretending that he "passed" the ball from one hand to the other, he uses several different manipulations, but we will only talk about one, a false pass, which, in our opinion, is the simplest.

The ball lies on the right open palm of the artist (Fig. 12, A), and he intends to take it in his left hand. At the same time, under the cover of his left palm, he palms the ball in his right hand and turns his palm with its back to the audience, and clenching his left into a fist (Fig. 12, B). The audience gets the impression that the ball is in the left hand.

Practice until the manipulations described here are easy and confident for you. Then with their help you can show a lot of interesting tricks, which we will discuss later.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

The main scientific breakthrough of 2018 31.12.2018

Employees of the scientific publication Physics World announced experiments with graphene, conducted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as the most important scientific breakthrough of the outgoing year.

In 2018, scientists from this institute discovered a new property of graphene. Pablo Jarrio-Herrero was listed as the head of research. It was found that graphene is capable of being both an insulator and a conductor. Moreover, the "role" depends on the angle of inclination of the location of its layers in relation to one another.

PhD student Cao Yuan, a participant in the graphene insulator and conductive graphene experiment, was also named one of the great personalities in science 2018 by Nature magazine.

Graphene is a revolutionary material that opens up huge prospects for the development of technology. It was discovered in 2004 by scientists from the University of Manchester. This material is currently known to be the most electrically conductive, lightest, and strongest carbon compound available.

According to experts, graphene is an excellent substitute for silicon. It is now known that the material melts at temperatures above 3 degrees. It is a hundred times stronger than steel and is also impervious to many gases and liquids.
