EFFECTIVE FOCUSES AND THEIR CLUES A cut but repaired tie. Focus secret Directory / Spectacular tricks and their clues Focus Description: The magician asks for a volunteer to come on stage to assist him. When a volunteer enters the stage, the magician gives him a piece of rope to test. Having received confirmation that the rope has no traces of special preparation, the performer temporarily hangs the rope around the neck of this gentleman so that he can check whether the magician's scissors are sharp. Demonstrating the sharpness of the scissors, the magician takes hold of the two ends of the rope and cuts both ends of the rope with one quick swing. Unfortunately, due to his haste, he cuts the spectator's tie along with them, the end of which falls to the floor. The frustrated magician picks up pieces of string and the end of a tie from the floor and hurriedly stuffs them into a paper bag along with the rest of the tie, which he asked a volunteer to remove. The embarrassed magician says that a gentleman can mend his tie in the workshop, but for now, he addresses the audience, if there is another volunteer in the hall. Of course, his call remains unanswered - there is no other "volunteer". The only thing left for the magician is to quickly restore the tie to its natural state. The magician takes out a tie from the bag and sees: to the general relief of the audience, and the volunteer, and the magician, the tie is whole again, and the bag is completely empty! Focus secret: A. You need to buy two identical ties. There is no need to spend money on expensive ones, moreover, an expensive tie will prevent you from achieving the desired effect. Expensive ties are lined and therefore difficult to cut quickly. It is very important that you have very sharp scissors, because the speed with which you cut the ropes and tie is an essential element in achieving comedic effect. In addition, the focus is double wall paper bag. The last item is a piece of soft rope about one and a half meters long. It is desirable that the core be removed from the rope to facilitate the cutting process. Place one of the two ties in the main compartment of the Double Wall Bag, along with the string and scissors. The secret pocket of the bag is currently empty. Before the performance, find a random audience member who you think would be a good fit for your assistant. Invite him aside so that no one can see you, and ask him to put on the second of the ties you bought. Explain to him what will happen on stage and ask him to volunteer when you ask the audience for help (or appoint him as a "volunteer" yourself when the time is right). Ask him to be visibly upset when his tie is ruined. He should play along with you as much as he can in order to increase the laughter in the hall with his confused look. Invite him to take a seat from which it would be easy to walk to the stage. 1. Starting the performance of the trick, ask the audience for help: if someone volunteers to assist you. When your "volunteer" gets up on stage, remove the rope and scissors from the bag and set the bag aside. Ask a spectator to stand to your right and hand him the rope, asking him to check it. 2. When he confirms that the rope is real, hang it around the viewer's neck. The ends of the rope should hang below the tie. 3. Now give the viewer the scissors and ask them to check their sharpness. While he is checking them, take the two ends of the rope in your hand, and having received the scissors back, tell the audience that now you will show how you can cut the rope into three parts with one wave. With these words, open the scissors and put the blade under the ends of the rope - and under the tie. 4. Cut the ropes and tie in one swift motion, leaving both ends of the rope in your hand as the piece of tie falls to the floor. 5. Note. The time has come to mobilize the acting abilities of both you and the audience. The audience will no doubt immediately react to the nightmarish mistake you made. And your task is to fully realize all the possibilities that have arisen as a result of the current comedic situation, that is, to carry out the entire procedure in the style of a "comedy of errors". For example, you can continue to cut off pieces of a tie in an attempt to "bring the trick to a successful conclusion." You can also cut the last part of the tie so that it falls completely to the floor. "The viewer doesn't have to bother taking off his tie." (However, be careful not to injure the viewer.) 6. Having beaten the comedy situation to the end with the viewer, remove the rope and pick up a piece of tie from the floor. Ask the spectator to remove and give you the rest of the tie. Then put it all in the secret pocket of the bag. 7. Invite the viewer to take the bag with them so that the wife can mend the tie, and immediately turn to the audience with an appeal: is there a second volunteer so that you can repeat the trick and bring it to the end. The tieless spectator protests, saying that you are a magician and therefore must solve this problem with magic. In response, you make a magical gesture over the bag, reach into it and take out a whole tie from the main compartment. 8. Return the tie to your assistant and tear up the bag, proving that it is empty. Be careful not to expose the secret pocket and its contents. Thanks to the double-walled bag and the active help of a volunteer, you will again convince the audience of your magical power!
