Focus Description:

The magician invites the audience to examine the coin and the scarf, after which he places the coin on the scarf, wraps it, and after several passes and spells shakes the scarf, but accordingly there is no coin in it (applause). The scarf undergoes a second inspection: everything is fine.

Focus secret:

When the magician places a coin with his left hand, he holds a handkerchief with his right hand and, under it, stretched over the middle, thumb and index fingers, a thin elastic band in the color of the handkerchief. And after he places the coin in the fingers of his right hand, he quietly slips the rubber band under the scarf so that it pinches the coin through the scarf.

Shaking the scarf, you need to take a corner of it, folding it in the shape of the letter S (that is, the two edges cover the central part from view on both sides). The coin has not disappeared anywhere; it is attached to the scarf, but it is not visible from either side (the scarf, of course, is thick and opaque). The audience is surprised.

To enhance this, you show the scarf from all sides, still holding the top edge with one hand, and grabbing the bottom with the other so that the fraying of the ends does not give you away.

Next comes the crucial moment. Turning the scarf over in a vertical plane (!), you need to slightly pull the scarf at the two ends and the coin, freed from the elastic, slides down the scarf into the sleeve of the second hand.

Now you can demonstrate it for closer inspection. A falling rubber band is usually not noticed, or is mistaken for a thread from a scarf (but it must be really thin).
