When you eat chicken or duck, save this bone, clean it well from the remnants of meat and cartilage, and use it for the experiment. Wrap the “legs” of the fork several times with a strong thread and tie the ends of the thread. It turned out a stretched thread ring. But here's the amazing thing: it seems like something completely different happened. Repeat the experiment at least a hundred times, it will always seem to you that the end of the match did not go around, but cut through the bone, passing through the middle of the fork!

After all, the jerk of a match along a circular path is so swift that the eye does not have time to notice it at all.

Bus over the road 03.11.2010

The Beijing city government is set to implement an unusual project that should reduce traffic congestion by 30%: a bus on high "legs" that allow other vehicles to pass under it.
