The soap bubble will immediately burst if you touch it with a dry object. But the tube dipped in soapy water is not afraid of the bubble. A friend with his straw can "connect" to your bubble, you will blow it together. You can transfer the bladder from one tube to another. Or you can insert a wetted tube inside the bubble and blow another bubble in it. When you pull out the tube, the second bubble will fall to the bottom of the big one and will lie in it like an apple in a basket.

Gently shake the tube on which the large bubble hangs. So you can push the second bubble out, and it will hang like a basket under a balloon.

And you can blow three bubbles, one inside the other. To do this, put a cork in the middle of the saucer. Put a brand new patch on the cork, stick a small doll to the patch with plasticine, and stick a penny to the head of the doll.

Pour a little soap solution into a saucer and place it on a glass. Soak everything in the saucer well with the solution. Now take the tube and blow a big bubble so that it sits on the edges of the saucer.

Ready? Insert a tube into this bubble and blow out the second one inside, placing it on a nickel. Remove the tube, moisten it again and carefully pierce the membranes of both bubbles. Inside, blow out the third, the smallest. He will sit on a penny!

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Google Glass glasses will transmit sound through the skull bone 07.02.2013

According to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) documents, the Google Glass wearable computer will not only be equipped with 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 modules, but will also receive a bone-conducting speaker, thanks to which users will be able to listen to audio without using headphones. The vibrations that will pass into the inner ear through the skull bone will allow a person to hear not only music, but everything that happens around him.

This is stated in the text of the FCC document in the paragraph "Integrated vibrating element that transmits sound to the user by contact with his head." A few days ago, we recall, Google filed a patent application for a mobile computing device with a built-in bone conductive speaker. Note that this technology is not something new, but the use of devices such as Google Glass can significantly increase its popularity.

The prototype of Google Glass glasses was presented to a wide audience six months ago as part of the Google I / O conference. After that, the wearable computer was repeatedly shown to the public and even became a participant in New York Fashion Week in September last year. It is expected that developers will get their hands on the device within the next few months, while for ordinary users the gadget will be available only next year.
