I want to offer a VFO circuit that has been working for a long time and has proven itself on the positive side.

The oscillator circuit is part of the mixer type VFO for a single conversion transceiver.

The range of overlapped frequencies is 4812...5312 kHz. The initial overrun of the frequency for 2 minutes after switching on is 260 Hz. In the future, frequency stability is 15 ... 20 Hz.

The generator itself is made on transistors VT2 VT3 according to the analog circuit of a lambda diode. This scheme has increased temperature stability and low non-linear distortion. The current consumed by the generator is 220 ... 230 μA. On the elements VT1, DA1 a voltage regulator is made to power the generator. VT4 is a source follower for decoupling the generator from the influence of subsequent stages. Setting the generator is reduced to setting the range of overlapping frequencies using C5 and C6 and setting the operating point of the generator. To do this, using R3, the voltage at point A is set equal to 2,65 ... 2,75 V.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Energy efficient Intel Atom x3 processors 15.05.2015

Intel has expanded its range of Atom x3 processors with two new models, designated x3-C3405 and x3-C3445.

Atom x3 chips were presented during the MWC 2015 exhibition. They were created under the SoFIA (Smartphone or Featurephone on Intel Architecture) program, which is designed to reduce product costs, expand its functionality and speed up market launch through cooperation with other companies.

So far, the Atom x3 family has included three models: x3-C3130 with two cores, as well as quad-core x3-C3230RK and x3-C3440.

The new processors, like the previously presented models, are manufactured using 28-nanometer technology. They are endowed with four processing cores with a frequency of 1,2 GHz (increases to 1,4 GHz). Supports 64-bit instructions and LPDDR2 / 3-1066 RAM up to 2 GB. The integrated graphics core operates at a frequency of 456 MHz.

The Atom x3-C3405 system-on-a-chip provides Wi-Fi-only support, while the Atom x3-C3445 also supports 300G LTE FDD/TDD mobile communications with data rates up to XNUMXMbps. The processors are designed for smartphones, phablets and tablet computers.
