The scheme of the antenna amplifier based on stripline resonators operating in the range of 70 cm (430 MHz) is shown in fig. one.

The low noise level of the amplifier is due to the use of a low-noise microwave transistor. The amplifier has a gain of about 15 dB, has good linearity and low crosstalk. The input and output resonant circuits are segments of a strip line with taps to match the input and output impedance (75 ohms), The resonators are tuned with capacitors C2 and C4.

Ris.1

The device of the amplifier, its dimensions and dimensions of the main elements are shown in fig. 2. The body of the amplifier and both lines are made of foil fiberglass 1 mm thick. The body parts are placed with foil inside and connected by soldering. The partition (Fig. 2b) is cut out of copper (or brass) sheet 0,5 mm thick. It is necessary that all seams are carefully soldered along the entire length. The lines are soldered with foil outward between the end wall of the case and capacitors C2 and C4.

Ris.2

Trimmer capacitors C2 and C4 - piston type. Capacitors C5 and C6 are feed-through capacitors (capacitance up to 1000 pF), C1 and C3 are miniature disk capacitors with greatly shortened leads. Chokes are wound with enameled wire with a diameter of 0.3 mm. Throttle Dr1 - frameless. consists of 10 turns, Dr2 is wound on a resistor with a resistance of 1 kOhm, a power of 0,25 W and contains 12 turns. Details not shown in fig. 2. Mounted on the outside of the case. The power input (+12 V) is made in the form of a ceramic stand.

The amplifier is first tuned with capacitor C4. then C2, then with resistor R5 and again with capacitors until maximum gain is obtained. The variable resistor R5 slider must be in the middle position before setting.

Note. The closest analogue of the BFR91 (BFR90) transistor in terms of parameters and case type is the 2T367A transistor. however, it has a higher noise figure.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Nokia Slimming Electronic Gadgets 21.06.2017

Nokia started selling health monitoring gadgets under its own brand.

The Nokia branded Nokia Body Scale for weight loss with weight tracking and body mass index (BMI) and the Nokia BPM+ digital blood pressure monitor with support for the Health Mate mobile app are already available under the Nokia brand.

Nokia digital health monitoring gadgets are updated products of the French company Withings, which Nokia acquired in April 2016 for $192 million. .

Cedric Hutchings, Nokia's vice president and head of the company's Digital Health division, told VentureBeat that the new digital health monitors are being introduced as part of the company's "revival". As Nokia moves away from its core handset business, digital health technologies will play an increasing role in the company's portfolio going forward, he said.
