 Comments on the article

The microcircuit is designed to control powerful switching voltage stabilizers, electric drive control circuits with a switching current of up to 5 A.

The microcircuit includes: a voltage stabilizer, PWM, an error signal amplifier, a comparator, a sawtooth voltage generator, temperature and current protection units, and a power bipolar transistor.

The microcircuit is manufactured in an 8-pin glass-to-metal package type 4.106.010.

Note: The dissipated power in the temperature range from 25 to 125°C decreases linearly by 0,16 W/°C.

Recommended Use

When mounting a microcircuit, it must be taken into account that its body is electrically connected to the common wire of its internal components.

The principle of operation of the microcircuit is based on PWM conversion of the input voltage. The output voltage of the mismatch signal amplifier (USR) is compared with the voltage of the sawtooth voltage generator G using a PWM switch. If the generator voltage does not exceed the USR voltage, then the switch output is in the log state. "0", and the key transistor is open at this time. In the process of forming the front of the sawtooth voltage, the generator generates a rectangular pulse, which is used to synchronize the PWM. During the action of the clock pulse, the key transistor is in the closed state, i.e. the leading edge of the control pulses at the output of the shaper (the base of the key transistor) coincides with the beginning of the formation of a linearly increasing section of the sawtooth voltage. This eliminates the influence of the nonlinearity of the falling section of the sawtooth voltage on the PWM parameters.

The input filter capacitor is recommended to be located as close as possible to the pin. 1 and 2 microcircuits, and pin. 5 shunt with a capacitor with a capacity of 0,01 ... 0,1 μF.

When using a microcircuit in circuits with a grounded emitter of a key transistor (pin 8), the value of the time-setting capacitor connected to the pin. 3, must be at least 0,025 uF.

When the temperature of the chip chip is more than 150 ° C, the temperature protection circuit is triggered. To restore the circuit's operability, it is necessary to turn off the load and briefly turn off the supply voltage (pin 2).

If the maximum permissible output current (5 A) is exceeded, the flow protection is activated. When the load is disconnected, the operation of the circuit is restored.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

SilverStone ECU04 2xUSB 3.0 Expansion Card 26.01.2016

USB 3.0 ports have long been standard on motherboards and pre-built PCs, but the double-bandwidth USB 3.1 ports are not. The SilverStone ECU04 expansion card allows you to add two USB 3.1 ports to your PC configuration.

The card is equipped with a PCIe 2.0 x2 interface and two 19-pin USB connectors. It is backward compatible with devices that comply with the USB 3.0, 2.0 and 1.1 specifications. In addition to UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) 1.0, it supports XHCI (eXtensible Host Controller Interface) 1.1, so no drivers need to be installed on an OS that supports XHCI.

The new one costs $28. A low profile mounting plate is included in the scope of delivery.
