Samsung laptops based on Ivy Bridge processors

Samsung Electronics has announced the release of the Samsung Series 7 Gamer series of gaming laptops equipped with third-generation Intel Core processors codenamed Ivy Bridge.

Samsung Series 7 Gamer laptops feature a 17,3-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 400 nits of brightness; Geforce GTX675M video processor and Dolby Home Theater sound system.

The maximum amount of RAM is 16 GB, hard disk - 1,5 TB. ExpressCache technology, which uses 8 GB of flash memory on the system card, improves performance and speeds up application launches. Turning on the laptop takes 19 seconds.

The user is offered a choice of several modes of operation of the laptop: Gaming Mode (game mode), General Mode (general mode), Quiet Mode (silent mode) and Power Saver Mode (power saving mode).
