This is the simplest detector receiver that does not need power, since its circuit does not contain a single transistor or any other energy consumer.
The circuit diagram of the receiver is shown in the figure.
The radio signals received by the antenna are fed through the capacitor C1 to an oscillatory circuit consisting of an inductor L1 and a variable capacitor C2. Of all the signals received by the antenna, the oscillatory circuit selects the signal whose frequency coincides with the tuning frequency of the circuit. This frequency can be changed by changing the capacitance of the capacitor C2 and, thus, tuning the receiver to the signals of different radio stations. From the loop coil, the received radio signal is fed to the diode D1, which serves as a detector, separating the audio frequency signal from the radio signal, which is reproduced by the TON-1 type TON-2000 telephone capsule with a resistance of 3 ohms. The high-frequency component of the detected signal passes through the capacitor CXNUMX and does not enter the telephone capsule circuit.
The antenna is a copper wire 10-20 m long. The diameter of the wire can be in the range from 0,3 to 3,0 mm. The antenna cord is read best. For detector receivers, an external antenna is desirable, the wire of which is located at a height of 2-3 m from the roof. You can limit yourself to a room antenna stretched under the ceiling. Good grounding is also necessary, which can be used as water pipes.
All parts, except for the telephone capsule, are mounted on a 3x4 cm getinax panel. The inductor is wound on a frame 12 mm in diameter and 4 mm high with cheeks 22 mm in diameter. The winding is carried out with a PEL wire with a diameter of 0,1 mm in bulk and contains 80 turns with a tap from 70 turns, counting from the grounded end. As a capacitor C2, you can use a tuning capacitor of the KPK-2 type.
