ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RADIO ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Section 2. Sewerage of electricity Conductors with voltage up to 35 kV. Conductors with voltage up to 1 kV Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering / Rules for the installation of electrical installations (PUE) 2.2.19. Branch points from current conductors must be accessible for maintenance. 2.2.20. In industrial premises, current conductors of IP00 performance should be located at a height of at least 3,5 m from the floor level or service platform, and current conductors of performance up to IP31 - at least 2,5 m. Installation height of IP20 and higher performance conductors with insulated busbars, as well as IP40 and higher performance conductors is not standardized. The height of the installation of conductors of any design at a mains voltage of 42 V and below AC and 110 V and below DC is also not standardized. In rooms visited only by qualified service personnel (for example, in the technical floors of buildings, etc.). installation height of conductors IP20 and higher is not standardized. In electrical rooms of industrial enterprises, the installation height of current conductors of IP00 and higher performance is not standardized. Places where accidental contact with conductors of IP00 version is possible must be protected. Conductors must have additional protection in places where mechanical damage is possible. Conductors and fences placed above the walkways must be installed at a height of at least 1,9 m from the floor or service platform. Mesh fencing of conductors must have a mesh with cells no larger than 25 x 25 mm. The structures on which the conductors are installed must be made of non-combustible materials and have a fire resistance limit of at least 0,25 hours. Nodes for the passage of conductors through ceilings, partitions and walls should exclude the possibility of the spread of flame and smoke from one room to another. 2.2.21. The distance from the current-carrying parts of current conductors without sheaths (IP00 version) to pipelines must be at least 1 m, and to process equipment - at least 1,5 m. The distance from bus ducts with sheaths (IP21; IP31, IP51, IP65) to pipelines and process equipment is not standardized. 2.2.22. The clear distance between the conductors of different phases or poles of conductors without sheaths (IP00) and from them to the walls of buildings and grounded structures must be at least 50 mm, and to combustible elements of buildings - at least 200 mm. 2.2.23. Switching and protective equipment for branches from current conductors must be installed directly on the current conductors or near the branch point (see also 3.1.16). This apparatus shall be so located and guarded as to prevent accidental contact with live parts. Appropriate devices (rods, cables) must be provided for operational control from the floor level or service platform by devices installed at an inaccessible height. Apparatuses must have features distinguishable from the floor or service platform indicating the position of the apparatus (on, off). 2.2.24. For conductors, insulators made of fireproof materials (porcelain, steatite, etc.) should be used. 2.2.25. Along the entire route of current conductors without protective sheaths (IP00) every 10-15 m, as well as in places visited by people (landing sites for crane operators, etc.), safety warning posters should be fixed. 2.2.26. Measures (for example, insulating spacers) should be provided to prevent unacceptable convergence of the phase conductors between themselves and with the conductor sheath during the passage of short-circuit currents. 2.2.27. The following additional requirements apply to conductors in crane spans: 1. Unshielded conductors without protective sheaths (IP00) laid along trusses should be placed at a height of at least 2,5 m from the level of the bridge deck and the crane trolley; when laying current conductors below 2,5 m, but not below the level of the lower chord of the floor truss, guards should be provided to prevent accidental contact with them from the bridge deck and the crane trolley along the entire length of the current conductors. It is allowed to install a fence in the form of a canopy on the crane itself under the conductor. 2. Sections of current conductors without protective sheaths (IP00) above repair pens for cranes (see 5.4.16) must have guards to prevent contact with live parts from the deck of the crane trolley. Fencing is not required if the current conductor is located above this flooring at a level of at least 2,5 m or if insulated conductors are used in these places; in the latter case, the smallest distance to them is determined based on the repair conditions. 3. Laying of conductors under the crane without the use of special measures of protection against mechanical damage is allowed in the dead zone of the crane. Special protection measures against mechanical damage are not required for sheathed busbars of any design for current up to 630 A, located near the process equipment outside the dead zone of the crane.
