With a sweet paradise and in a hut

Winged words
Winged words

Phraseologism: With a sweet paradise and in a hut.

Meaning: The main thing in family happiness is not special household comfort, but love, mutual understanding, agreement with a loved one.

Origin: It is considered a Russian folk proverb. But, as follows from the work of E. A. Bobrov "From the History of Russian Literature of the 1907th and 1778th Centuries" (St. Petersburg, 1818), in fact, this is a line from the very popular poem "Russian Song" ("In the evening, the girl is red. ..") of the Russian poet of Tatar origin Nigmat Ibragimov (1815-8), who in the Russian literary environment was known as Nikolai Misailovich Nigmatulin: "Do not look for me, rich: // You are not sweet to my soul. // What do I, what are your ward? // With a dear paradise and in a hut! The poem "Russian Song" was first published in 1851. And from that time on, the line "With a sweet paradise and in a hut" began its independent life in the Russian language. And the verses themselves justified their name: they became the text of a song that has long become a folk song. (N. M. Ibragimov is the author of the words of another, also well-known Russian "folk" song "In the field, a birch tree stood".) From the diary of L. N. Tolstoy (entry dated June XNUMX, XNUMX): "People ridiculed everyone. They laugh at the fact that with a sweet paradise and in a hut, and they say that this is not true. Of course, it is true, not only in a hut, in Krapivna, in the Old Yurt, everywhere.

Random phraseology:

social order.

Meaning:

Product on the topic of the day.

Origin:

From the article "T. N. "Formal Method" by the Soviet literary critic Osip Maksimovich Brik (1888-1945), published in the journal "LEF" (1923. No. 1): "Everything great was created in response to the demands of the day [...] a great poet does not reveal himself, but only fulfills a social order. " The author explained this idea in this way: "Do not be Pushkin. "Eugene Onegin" would have been written anyway.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. Chimpanzee language 28.05.2022

Chimpanzees use a fairly rich language to communicate, scientists from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (Germany) concluded.

"Our results suggest that the chimpanzee's vocal communication system is much more complex and structured than previously thought," the researchers said.

As it turned out, in the language of primates there are sounds - "words" that animals are able to build in vocalizations - "sentences".

The researchers had to analyze more than five thousand sounds that were made by wild chimpanzees in the Tai National Park in Cote d'Ivoire. As a result, scientists were able to identify 390 unique vocal sequences.

Moreover, the chimpanzees exchanged them quite consciously. A large number of grunting, squeaking and puffing sounds were used for greetings, expressions of submission, messages about food, and so on.

Depending on the situation in which the monkey found himself, the sounds differed. Alone, at the sight of food, a chimpanzee makes a short sound, and surrounded by relatives, its longer version. A hooting sound warns of danger, and a series of such sounds indicates an appeal to a monkey of a higher rank.

The recording involved wild chimpanzees living in nature reserves, where they do not see a person and do not communicate with him in any way. In total, there were 49 adult individuals, the sounds of the cubs were not studied.

Anthropologists hope that further research on the language of monkeys will help to learn more about the origin of human language.
