When it is necessary to power some home device with a low current consumption (up to 150 mA) from the mains, which works autonomously (clock, night light, electronic thermometer, etc.) and has a plastic case (the risk of electric shock is excluded), it is advisable to use transformerless power supplies. In the proposed source, the KR142EN8 microcircuit is used as a stabilizer.

Transformerless power supply on KRENK, 220/12-22 volts

The source provides an output voltage of 12 V, which depends on the type of integrated regulator used. With a load current of up to 150 mA, the DA1 chip has a small voltage drop, i.e. the difference between the input and output voltage of DA1 is no more than 2,5 V. If adjustment of the output voltage is required, then pin 2 of DA1 is connected to a common wire through a variable resistor or zener diode. Then the output voltage can vary from 12 V to 22 V.

Any other integrated stabilizer with similar electrical characteristics can be used as DA1, for example, KR1212EN5, KR1157EN5A, KR5010EN5, KR1162EN5, KR1183EN5, etc.

Capacitor C1 acts as a ballast resistance, on which the excess mains voltage is "quenched". Resistor R1 reduces the initial inrush current when the device is turned on, R2 - discharges C1 when turned off. The Zener diode VD2 with a stabilization voltage of 22 ... 27 V protects the microcircuit from a voltage surge at the moment the source is turned on. Capacitor C3 reduces high frequency noise.

The operating voltage C1 must be at least 300 V. You can take capacitor types. K76-3, K73-17 or similar. Resistors R1, R2 - MLT-0,5 Instead of the VD1 diode bridge, individual diodes of the KD105B ... KD105G, KD103A, KD103B, KD202E types are suitable.

Attention! During the operation of the source, you must not touch not only its elements, but also the non-insulated parts of the device that is connected to it.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Keep a dog - get sick less often 21.07.2012

Contact with pets, especially dogs, during the first year of life significantly reduces the incidence and severity of respiratory tract infections in children.

Finnish researchers from the University of Kuopio conducted a study to identify the relationship between close contact with pets and the susceptibility of children in the first year of life to viral respiratory diseases. They followed 397 children born between September 2002 and May 2005 from pregnancy to one year of age. Monitoring of children's contacts with dogs and cats was carried out on the basis of the results of processing specially designed questionnaires filled out by parents.

The data obtained showed that, despite the fact that frequent respiratory infections are typical for the first year of life, children who often come into contact with dogs suffer from such diseases, including otitis media, less often and less severely, while shorter courses are required for their treatment. antibiotics. Moreover, frequent contact with dogs generally reduced the risk of all infectious diseases in children. Communication with cats also had a protective effect, which, however, was less pronounced than in the case of dogs living or often visiting directly in the house.

Researchers believe that contact with animals contributes to a faster and more complete formation of the immune system in young children.

very good site Thank you [up]

The article is not bad, but the presented power supply has a low output power. In my opinion, it is more expedient to use ROLLS with transistors that power them. [!] [lol]
