The circuit signals with a luminous LED about the on state of the load, and an audible signal about the fact that the load has been disconnected (or about a break in it, to stop the power supply).

Load disconnection signaling device

D1 - chip K561LE5.

On the direct resistance of several diodes connected in series to the load, some voltage drops. As long as the load is receiving power, this voltage is present. It is rectified by a rectifier on the VD10 diode and capacitor C1, and serves as power for the indicator LED HL1 And also charges capacitor C2. which serves as a power source for the D1 chip.

A sound generator is made on the D1 chip. As long as a high level voltage is applied to pin 5 of D1, the generator is blocked. When the load or supply voltage is turned off, the voltage on C1 quickly decreases due to the discharge through the LED.

At the same time, the charge of the capacitor C2 is not consumed so quickly, since the VD11 diode and the low current consumption of the D1 microcircuit interfere with this. The supply voltage D1 is maintained, but the voltage at pin 5 of D1 drops. As a result, the sound generator starts and the piezoceramic sound emitter BF1 sounds for a while while it is powered by the charge of capacitor C2.

When the load is turned on, C1 charges quickly and blocks the sound generator.

The setting consists in selecting the number of diodes VD1-VD8.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Samsung PRO Plus and EVO Plus Memory Cards 10.05.2015

Samsung Electronics has announced the expansion of its range of new series of memory cards PRO Plus and EVO Plus, which are improved versions of PRO and EVO. Un-Soo Kim, Senior Vice President of Samsung's Memory Devices Business Unit, said the new cards are designed to meet the increased demands of users following the introduction of Ultra HD-enabled products to the market.

The PRO Plus line is a high-end memory card aimed at professionals who shoot 4K video and high-resolution photos using high-end digital SLR cameras. Read / write speeds of new products reach 95 and 90 MB / s, respectively. The line includes models in SD and microSD formats. All memory cards meet the requirements of UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3) and Class 10. The capacity of new products is 32 and 64 GB. The 64GB PRO Plus card can store almost two hours of 4K video.

EVO Plus memory cards belong to a lower class. They are aimed at users of advanced smartphones, tablets, compact cameras and Full HD camcorders. EVO Plus read/write speeds reach 80 and 20 MB/s, respectively. This line includes SD and microSD models with a capacity of 32, 64 and 128 GB.

Among the features of all new products, it is worth noting a higher level of security. These memory cards can withstand immersion in sea water for up to 72 hours. They are also resistant to temperature extremes, x-rays, magnetic influences and shocks.

MicroSD cards will be the first to enter the market (already this month), and versions in SD format will also be released a little later.
