There are two main types of chip telephone cards, these are 8-pin and 6-pin, usually 6 contacts are used in 5 contact cards, among 8 contact cards there are also instances in which only 5 contacts are also used, the rest are loaded.

The cards contain an electrically programmable ROM with a capacity of 256 * 1 bits with serial bit-by-bit output of information and an internal incremental address counter. The write operation changes the state of the memory cells "in one direction", the reverse change (erasing) is not provided by the card interface.

Connecting cards to a computer for reading and writing is mainly carried out through the LPT port. Unfortunately, the cards cannot be rewritten because the fuse is blown after the first recording. You need to build a phone card emulator.

The order of actions performed by the card phone when calling

  1. Power on.
  2. Reset.
  3. Reading the first 8 bytes and determining whether the card is valid in the given region, storing them in RAM (with decoding if necessary).
  4. Read five bytes of ones and store in RAM. Checking if the available capacity units of the card encoded in the first 8 bytes match.
  5. Power off.

After receiving the dial tone of the called party

  1. Power on.
  2. Calculation of the address of the last unwritten bit. (approximately 1-3 seconds after pressing the "answer" key)
  3. Reset.
  4. Feeding the number of imp. CLK to the corresponding address of the last unwritten bit.
  5. Issuing the WRITE command.
  6. Issuing a WC command.
  7. Reading the first 8 bytes and determining whether the card is valid in the given region, storing them in RAM (with decoding if necessary).
  8. Read five bytes of ones and store in RAM. Checking if the available capacity units of the card encoded in the first 8 bytes match, checking if the units have decreased compared to the previous read.

Power off.

After a minute, if the connection is not broken, then the steps from the first to the ninth are repeated cyclically.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

The new USB connector will not be incompatible with the current one. 04.12.2013

The developers of the USB standard plan to change the connector in 2014. The new connector will not be directly compatible with the existing ones, but the cable will become symmetrical. The USB 3.0 Promoter Group has announced the development of a next-generation USB connector, tentatively called USB Type-C.

When switching to a new connector, the cable will become symmetrical. That is, it will be possible to connect it to any device in a pair by any end. This means that the new connector will not be directly compatible with existing devices, only through adapters.

The plug size will be reduced compared to a full size USB and will roughly match the size of a Micro USB, but will not be compatible with it either. The developers take into account the tendency to reduce the size of devices, so it was decided to reduce the connector.

"USB has become the most popular technology for charging and connecting devices, and we recognized the need to develop a new connector that would meet current trends in design and convenience," commented USB 3.0 Promoter Group Chairman Brad Saunders. -C will be able to meet the needs of the market and will be the basis for further development of the USB standard."

The new connector, like the current version, will allow the transfer of electrical energy to charge mobile devices. It will also be expandable so that it can support higher speeds in the future.
