The trinistor color-musical installation develops a power of up to 2...3 kW at the load and can be recommended for color-musical accompaniment of pop numbers.

In this case, it is advisable to mount powerful incandescent lamps in spotlights with color filters, directing their rays to a common screen. To bring together the dynamic ranges of the musical signal and the brightness of the glow of incandescent lamps, the sound signal compressors are used in the installation.

The principle of operation of the installation is based on the method of frequency separation of the signal spectrum into low-frequency, mid-frequency and high-frequency bands. The first of them is distinguished by the L1C1 high-pass filter, the second - by the L2C2L3C3 band-pass filter, the third - by the L4C4 low-pass filter. Otherwise, the channels are identical in scheme. Light emitters are incandescent lamps 1H2 (blue), 2H2 (green) and ZH2 (red).

The audio signal is compressed by optoelectronic feedback. To do this, the photodiode and the auxiliary lamp of each of the channels (in the "blue" channel 1V2 and 1H1) are placed in opaque canisters measuring approximately 30 x 35 x 200 mm (the distance between them is selected empirically). With an increase in the brightness of the lamp, the reverse resistance of the photodiode decreases. This leads to a decrease in the brightness of the 1H1 and 1H2 lamps, i.e., to a compression of the dynamic range of the processed signal. The feedback depth is regulated by trimmers 1R2, 2R2, 3R2.

The level of the input signal coming from the AF amplifier through the step-up transformer T1 is regulated by a variable resistor R1, the color balancing of the channels is performed by trimming resistors R2-R4.

Transformer T1 is wound on a magnetic circuit Ш16 X 24 with a PEL wire - 0,51. Winding I contains 64, winding II - 100 turns. Any mains transformer with an overall power of more than 2 W and a secondary winding providing a voltage of 10 x 2 V can be used as a phase shifter (T10). mm: L1 and L4 contain 0,08 turns each, L600 - 8, L20 - 1 turns. Optocoupler lamps (3Н1600, 2Н2000 and ЗН4) should have the lowest possible thermal inertia (their power should not exceed 3500 ... 1 W).

When making the installation, it should be borne in mind that its elements are under mains voltage. To avoid electric shock, the design must exclude the possibility of touching any non-insulated elements of the electrical circuit.
