I propose a simple light-dynamic prefix to the "Melodic signaling device" described in "Radio", 1992, No. 8, p. 12-15. It contains only ten AL307B LEDs and five resistors. The signaling device, supplemented with such a device, will play a melody with a light-dynamic effect.
It is not difficult to make a prefix: in the melodic signaling device there is a DD3 clock counter (Fig. 1 in the above article), to the conclusions of which (14, 12, 9, 8, 11) and to the +5 V power output, connect circuits of two LEDs connected in series and current limiting resistor (see diagram). The LEDs form a SDU screen, which, depending on the fantasies of the radio amateur, can be made in the form of a line, circle or rectangle on the front panel of the signaling device. CDS operates during the time of the melody.
The attachment uses LEDs AL307A, AL307AM, AL307B or AL307BM. It is also possible to use LEDs with different glow colors, for example, HL1 and HL2 - red, AL307A, AL307AM, AL307B or AL307BM; HL3 and HL4 - green, AL307V, AL307VM, AL307G or AL307GM; HL5 and HL6 - yellow, AL307D, AL307DM, AL307E or AL307EM, etc.

Micromax has launched an affordable Canvas XP 4G smartphone that uses MediaTek hardware platform and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
