The electronic gas lighter is a high voltage pulse generator.
The generator pulses create spark discharges near the burner at the moment the gas is turned on. To do this, a cam mechanism is installed on the axis of the gas turn-on handle, closing the contacts S1 located near the handle. Relay K1 turns on, blocking the contacts of the button S1 and including capacitor C1 in the charge circuit. This starts the blocking generator, made on the transistor V2. The open state of the transistor V1 is maintained during the charging time of the capacitor C1, after which the transistor is turned off, and the relay turns off the power from the circuit, transferring it to its original state.
Details. The blocking generator transformer T1 is made on a ferrite magnetic circuit with a diameter of 20 mm; winding I contains 140, winding II - 70 turns of PEV wire 0,47; transformer T2 - ignition coil of a motorcycle or boat motor; power - four elements 373 or 343 connected in series.

British dentists have developed a new way to prevent caries.
