GSM alarm is designed for simultaneous control of three security inputs-sensors and notification by a call to the "owner" when any of them is triggered:

1 input - the sensor works for a short circuit to the body.
2nd input - the sensor works for a short circuit at +12 V
3rd input - the sensor works to break the loop

For the operation of the GSM security alarm, any mobile phone with the function of quick dialing of numbers preprogrammed into the memory is required.
To call each number, its own hot dial keys are used. In 90% of the phones that come across already have this function by default, you only need to "activate" it, i.e. write down the required number for dialing in the cell. The burglar alarm is connected directly to the buttons of the mobile phone, as well as to the "Data" signal on the system connector, which is used to analyze the working state of the phone.

To ensure a constant and operational state of the phone in the event of a possible loss of voltage from the phone during operation, or it is turned off for some unknown reason, the “Data” signal is constantly monitored. If the signal is “0”, the phone is turned on by successively pressing the buttons:

- the first button "Power1" is pressed, held down for 5 seconds, pause for 5 seconds, then pressing the second button "Power2" with a hold for 5 seconds.

The security mode is activated using a toggle switch. Closed - security mode. Open - no security. Exit delay (sensors are not polled) - 60 sec. after arming.

When any sensor is triggered - a delay of 30 seconds. before starting the process of calling 3 numbers. If you do not turn the toggle switch to the off position within 30 seconds, the dialing mode for three numbers is activated. To dial the first number, the "Call_1" key is pressed and held for 1 second, then pause for 1 second and then for 1 second. the "Call_4" key is pressed.
- Pause 1 min.
For the second number, another key is used - "Call_2" is pressed and held for 1 second, then a pause of 1 second and then for 1 second. "Call_4" is pressed
- Pause 1 min.
For the third - "Call_3" is pressed and held for 1 sec, then pause for 1 sec and then for 1 sec. "Call_4" is pressed.
- Pause 1 min.

This cycle is repeated 3 times. The timing parameters and sequence of clicks can be changed in the microcontroller control program.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Aspirin is the culprit of death 08.05.2010

The influenza pandemic of 1918-1919 killed over 25 million people. American physician Karen Starko, after analyzing historical data, argues that the culprit of many deaths was a relatively new then medicine - aspirin.

There was still little experience with aspirin. Now four grams is considered a safe daily dose, but in 1918 doctors often prescribed doses from 8 to 31 grams for influenza. The official instructions for the treatment of influenza, sent to American doctors in September 1918, recommended taking 1,3 grams of aspirin every hour. Three weeks later, influenza deaths rose sharply in the United States.

It is now known that an overdose of acetylsalicylic acid (the chemical name for aspirin) leads to serious damage to the lungs, brain, liver and kidneys. It is these symptoms that are described in many surviving case histories. They cannot be explained by influenza virus exposure or secondary bacterial infections alone. Aspirin is not currently recommended for children and adolescents under 14 years of age.
