Types of automata

C	For lighting circuits and electrical installations with moderate starting currents (motors and transformers)
D	For circuits with active-inductive loads, as well as for protecting electric motors with high starting currents

HDR display for smartphones 20.05.2015

IGNIS has introduced AMOLED display technology called True Vision Display. These displays are characterized by high contrast and refresh rate, wide color gamut and high color fidelity. True Vision Display is claimed to be the only HDR display designed for smartphones.

Introducing True Vision Display, the developer noted that the race for pixel density in smartphone displays does little for consumers, while manufacturers ignore more important parameters, such as characterizing the dynamic range. This is due to the technical ability to increase the density and the inability to expand the dynamic range.

The disadvantages of liquid crystal displays include inertia, the inability to get a good black level and a large thickness due to the backlight system. These disadvantages are absent in AMOLED displays, but the increase in brightness required for HDR leads to accelerated wear and tear and literally "burns" the image on the screen. True Vision Displays managed to get around these disadvantages.

According to IGNIS, True Vision Displays are well suited for realistic display of videos and photos, immersive games and applications of augmented and virtual reality.

You can see such a display for a smartphone at the SID 2015 event, which will be held in San Jose from June 1 to 4.
