Transistor VT1 (BS170) is an n-channel MOS transistor in the TO-92 package with parameters:

maximum drain current I_D - 0,7 A;
maximum drain-source voltage V_DS - 60 V;
maximum power dissipation P_D - 800 mW;
open resistance R_DS -1,2 ohm.

The transistor can be replaced on KP501, BSS89, BST76, VN2401 or any other with similar parameters. The printed circuit board and arrangement of elements is shown in fig. 3.27.

Circuit solutionsused in the IR5xHD420 electronic ballasts apply to the IR215x electronic ballasts discussed earlier.

Major risk factor for gambling addiction 07.05.2024

Computer games are becoming an increasingly popular form of entertainment among teenagers, but the associated risk of gaming addiction remains a significant problem. American scientists conducted a study to determine the main factors contributing to this addiction and offer recommendations for its prevention. Over the course of six years, 385 teenagers were followed to find out what factors may predispose them to gambling addiction. The results showed that 90% of study participants were not at risk of addiction, while 10% became gambling addicts. It turned out that the key factor in the onset of gambling addiction is a low level of prosocial behavior. Acoustic system Creative X-Fi Sonic Carrier 18.01.2016

Creative has introduced the X-Fi Sonic Carrier speaker system, which the manufacturer calls the soundbar. The name is quite correct as it is a 11.2.4 system. That is, it contains 17 radiators: 10 aluminum radiators "midbass" with a diameter of 2,75 inches, five titanium high-frequency radiators with a diameter of 0,75 inches and two aluminum low-frequency ones. Electronic frequency ignition on the BS170 works great with IR2153-IR2155 chips. I made ballasts for LB-36 and LB-80. C6 and C7 used 1 nF 50 V, while disconnecting the upper output of C7 from the 3rd leg of the microcircuit and connected it to the drain of the transistor. For the LB-80, it is better to replace the 5,6 V zener diode with 7,5 V. The resistor R5 must be set to 15 KΩ.

And if, in addition, we add auto-pumping instead of a snubber circuit from the output transistors through a 51 Ohm resistor, a 1 nF capacitor and a couple of 1N4148 diodes, then we get a very decent and reliable IR2153 ballast circuit.
