Innovative TDK-Lambda DRF Power Supplies 23.04.2015

TDK-Lambda has developed a series of DIN-rail mounted power supplies with increased efficiency (up to 94%) and enhanced functionality.

The new series consists of models DRF120/240/480 for 24 V output voltage with the ability to adjust up to 28 V with a screwdriver or remotely (with an external voltage in the range of 5...6 V). Power supplies allow output overload up to 150% in power (4 sec.) and have a good start for capacitive and inductive loads.

The power supplies have the ability to remotely turn on / off, remote control of the output voltage through relay contacts (DC Ok) and the possibility of parallel connection to increase the output current. The DRF120/240/480 series power supplies have an active power factor correction circuit (>0,95), moderate inrush currents, overload and overvoltage protection; for electromagnetic compatibility meet the requirements of EN55022 class B (CISPR22-B).

Optionally, power supplies can be ordered with a special printed circuit board coating that meets the requirements of ATEX, IEC EX, GL (use in explosive and marine environments). In addition, the new power supplies have a very narrow package (taking into account the power output) and a 5-year warranty. The DRF120/240/480 series is designed for industrial control systems and factory automation, and for various electromechanical devices.
