The amplifier is based on a traditional transformer-coupled circuit. The highlight is in the fixed bias of both the output stage (from a separate unstabilized source) and the input stage - a lithium battery in the grid circuit.

In fact, the 6S45P lamp (the choice was determined by the minimum output impedance at large mu) in this circuit operates far beyond the passport OBR (anode voltage 220 ... 250 V, the resistance in the grid circuit is twice the maximum), but it works confidently, without excitation and without drift of the operating point - practically, at the limit of permissible power. The bandwidth at the bottom is determined almost exclusively by the combination of the Ra of the input tube and the L of the interstage primary. Of course, the 6N30P has a smaller Ra, but... the two-stage driver on the 6N30P did not sound as good as the 6S45P (either with battery heating or with traditional ones).

The amplifier is made integrated mono - do not ask why, I wanted to. This is an "amplifier for the kitchen", self-sufficient and small - everything fits in 38 * 22 * 22 cm. An input selector (with the possibility of a stereo-to-mono adder) and a discrete shunt volume control have been added. Despite the fact that the shunt breaks when the biscuit is switched, this does not create any particular inconvenience.

Transformers: interstage Lundahl 1660-10mA in Alt-U switching, output Lundahl 1623-PP in switching on the secondary winding Alt-B (all primary windings in series), power supply - custom T190 from Electron-complex, anode choke from the Golden Mean, choke in the bias filter D23, such a green one. Output lamps - Svetlanov's (what was in the chest. Yes, everything was there ... and a lot more was left). Lithium battery - any 3-volt tablet with solder pins. Do not try to solder ordinary tablets without leads - nothing good will come of it.

The potentiometer in the filament circuit of the output stage can be replaced with a pair of 10-30 Ohm resistors, or it can be completely eliminated (by grounding one of the filament wires) - this practically does not affect the background, the output is a couple of mV noise. A single-ohm resistor in the 6C4C cathode circuit - an ammeter shunt, was selected for the existing head.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

In the United States will distribute land for the installation of solar panels 31.07.2012

US officials have issued a statement that large land plots will be identified in the US in the near future, which will be used for "green" energy. The government allocated funds from the country's budget for the development and mass installation of solar panels.

According to officials, solar power can and should be used in six southwestern states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. These regions, according to politicians, are the most favorable for the installation of solar panels, and the weather conditions in them will allow the most efficient use of solar cells to generate electricity. According to the official report, the above states "have excellent solar resources, good potential for energy transmission", and the solar panels that are planned to be installed in them "have no negative impact on biological, natural, cultural and historical resources."

The decision to release public land for the installation of solar panels was made after the results of research published by the Center for American Progress, according to which only 1% of the total amount of renewable energy in the United States is installed in these states. “The development of solar energy in the United States is one of the directions that President Obama takes when he talks about expanding electricity production, improving energy security and creating new jobs. We plan to distribute some of the public land that is best suited for solar energy and simplify the process permitting the installation of solar panels will be an additional incentive for families to use renewable energy as well as for businesses," said US Secretary of Energy Steven Chu.

The website of the US Department of the Interior indicates that a total of 285 thousand acres of public land will be given for the installation of solar panels. If all goes according to plan, then in the next few years, about 7 million American families will receive electricity from the sun.
