Various documents, bills of exchange, promissory notes must be written in strong ink so that they can remain unchanged for a long time. This ink must not be removed by washing or scrubbing without simultaneously removing and destroying the layer of paper itself.

It is generally accepted that the deeper the liquid that serves as ink penetrates the paper, the more difficult it is to remove it from there and the longer it remains on the paper.

1st recipe:

4 wt. hours of phosphoromanganese salt dissolved in 4 wt. hours of hydrochloric acid, after which 2 wt. h. anthracene, 1 wt. including chromium potassium salt, 1 wt. hours of water and the amount of gum arabic, which is required to obtain salt of the appropriate consistency.

2st recipe:

1,3 g of paratoluidine is dissolved in 7,7 g of aniline, after which 15 g of diluted hydrochloric acid and 15 g of gum arabic are added to the solution. The resulting composition is thoroughly mixed and dissolved in a separate bowl in 20 g of heated distilled water, 2,6 g of copper dichloride, 2 g of common salt, 1,3 g of ammonium chloride and 1,3 g of Bertolet salt, after which 11 g of gum arabica. Mix equal parts of both solutions before use.

3st recipe:

Mix 10 g of honey and 140 g of water and slowly, in small portions with constant stirring, pour 20 g of strong pure sulfuric acid into the mixture, after which an appropriate amount of indigo carmine is added to the composition, which gives the ink color intensity.

If the paper covered with such ink is strongly heated, then the inscriptions become completely black and cannot be removed.

It is recommended to use thicker paper, as sulfuric acid can completely destroy bad paper. In the latter case, after heating, the document is moistened with ammonia liquid or exposed to ammonia vapors in a tightly closed vessel.
