Here are a few different recipes hair washing products.

Hair washing liquid

  • Potash 140 g;
  • Sassafras oil 500 g;
  • Extract from orange flowers 8 l;
  • Alcohol 2 liters.

The listed substances are mixed and infused for a month. Potash and alcohol cleanse and degrease hair.

Soapy liquid for washing hair

Medical soap or white coconut oil soap 256 g

  • Ammonia 100 g;
  • Rose water 1600 g;
  • Glycerin 1 kg;
  • Alcohol (90°) 1 kg;
  • Geranium oil 20 g;
  • Bergamot oil 10 g;
  • Bitter almond oil 20 drops.

Liquid shampoo with coconut oil

  • Coconut oil 400 g;
  • Caustic potash (90%) 500 g;
  • Alcohol 400 g;
  • Glycerin 400 g;
  • Cold water 2 l;
  • Hot water 20 l.

Dissolve caustic potassium in 2 liters of cold water. When dissolved, the solution will heat up due to a chemical reaction. Leave to stand until the solution has cooled completely. Then the coconut oil is heated to 73 °C and the potassium hydroxide solution is heated again to the same temperature, after which the heated oil is poured into the potassium hydroxide solution in 4-5 additions, stirring continuously. Stir for another 10-15 minutes after adding all the oil and leave to stand overnight.

When a white semi-solid soap is formed, drain the excess of caustic potash, add 5 liters of hot water and stir until the soap dissolves in water (the drained excess of caustic potash can be reused for the next portion). Then pour the rest of the amount of hot water, while pouring glycerin and half of the alcohol into the mass. The remaining half of the alcohol is added at the very end of the work. The solution is passed through gauze or paper and left to stand until it becomes completely transparent. Scented oils are added to the alcohol before it is added to the soap.

Shampoo powder

  • Soap powder 400 g;
  • Borax powder 50 g;
  • Capsicum 1,6 g;
  • Cinchona bark 25 g.

liquid shampoo

  • Green soap (liquid) 400 g;
  • Borax 50 g;
  • Aromatic orange water 1 l;
  • Dissolve borax in water while heating and add liquid green soap. ;
  • Shampoo;
  • Soap root 50 g;
  • Cologne 400 g;
  • Water 1 l.

Boil the soap root with water for 30 minutes, strain and squeeze. Let cool and add cologne.

Method of use

Cover hair with foam and dry with a dry towel.

Liquid for washing hair "Yavol"

This headwash consists, according to Aufrecht's analysis, of the following parts:

  • Bull fat 10 g;
  • Lemon oil 50 g;
  • Cinchona tincture 200 g;
  • Potash 2 g;
  • Water 738 g.

It follows that in the manufacture of 1 kg of "Yavol" 12 g of soap, boiled on potash, is used.

Energy from space for Starship 08.05.2024

Producing solar energy in space is becoming more feasible with the advent of new technologies and the development of space programs. The head of the startup Virtus Solis shared his vision of using SpaceX's Starship to create orbital power plants capable of powering the Earth. Startup Virtus Solis has unveiled an ambitious project to create orbital power plants using SpaceX's Starship. This idea could significantly change the field of solar energy production, making it more accessible and cheaper. The core of the startup's plan is to reduce the cost of launching satellites into space using Starship. This technological breakthrough is expected to make solar energy production in space more competitive with traditional energy sources. Virtual Solis plans to build large photovoltaic panels in orbit, using Starship to deliver the necessary equipment. However, one of the key challenges ... >>

New method for creating powerful batteries 08.05.2024

With the development of technology and the expanding use of electronics, the issue of creating efficient and safe energy sources is becoming increasingly urgent. Researchers at the University of Queensland have unveiled a new approach to creating high-power zinc-based batteries that could change the landscape of the energy industry. One of the main problems with traditional water-based rechargeable batteries was their low voltage, which limited their use in modern devices. But thanks to a new method developed by scientists, this drawback has been successfully overcome. As part of their research, scientists turned to a special organic compound - catechol. It turned out to be an important component that can improve battery stability and increase its efficiency. This approach has led to a significant increase in the voltage of zinc-ion batteries, making them more competitive. According to scientists, such batteries have several advantages. They have b ... >>

Alcohol content of warm beer 07.05.2024

Beer, as one of the most common alcoholic drinks, has its own unique taste, which can change depending on the temperature of consumption. A new study by an international team of scientists has found that beer temperature has a significant impact on the perception of alcoholic taste. The study, led by materials scientist Lei Jiang, found that at different temperatures, ethanol and water molecules form different types of clusters, which affects the perception of alcoholic taste. At low temperatures, more pyramid-like clusters form, which reduces the pungency of the "ethanol" taste and makes the drink taste less alcoholic. On the contrary, as the temperature increases, the clusters become more chain-like, resulting in a more pronounced alcoholic taste. This explains why the taste of some alcoholic drinks, such as baijiu, can change depending on temperature. The data obtained opens up new prospects for beverage manufacturers, ... >>

No dark matter found around the sun 26.04.2012

A group of Chilean astronomers working at the La Silla Observatory, part of the European Southern Observatory, did not detect the expected dark matter in a large "piece" of galactic space around the Sun.

The main goal of the Chilean research was precisely the search for dark matter. As previously thought, it is everywhere, concentrated in the centers of galaxies, and even, perhaps, in some special intergalactic cavities. The Sun is almost the outermost star of the Milky Way. Thus, if the total mass of dark matter is 80% of the entire mass of the Universe, then in our galactic "outback" for each volume of space equal to the volume of the Earth, there should be at least 400 grams of matter.

Using the telescopes of the La Silla Observatory, astronomers examined 400 giant stars located at a distance of up to 13 light-years from the Sun. Scientists with record accuracy determined the characteristics of their movement and, on this basis, calculated the mass of the indicated sphere. And they were amazed to find that this mass coincides with the mass of stars, gas and dust that are there. There was simply no place for dark matter in our microdistrict of the Galaxy. Strictly speaking, the measurement error in the experiment made it possible to detect dark matter if its mass in space with the volume of the Earth exceeded 70 grams. This did not happen.

"Calculations show that dark matter must have manifested itself in our measurements," says Christian Moni Bidin of the Astronomy Department of the Chilean Research University, "but it's not there!"

If this discovery is confirmed, then scientists will have to look for another solution to the "missing mass" problem, since all the facts indicate that there is still some kind of invisible gravitational influence. Galaxies, including the Milky Way, spin faster than they should, there are many other inconsistencies that only the presence of dark matter could explain so far.

Christian Moni Bidin is very hopeful that the European Space Agency's future orbital observatory, called Gaia, will shed light on this dark mystery. It is planned that this optical telescope will start operating in 2013. He will draw up a detailed map of the Milky Way and indicate the coordinates of more than a billion stars.
