Palm kernel oil 30 kg;
Fat or bone fat 10 kg;
Cotton or linseed oil 5 kg;

Palm kernel oil 25 kg;
Coconut oil 25 kg;
Rosin 10 kg.

3st recipe:

Palm kernel oil 50 kg;
Rosin 10 kg.

4st recipe:

Fat 15 kg;
Palm oil 20 kg;
Coconut oil 15 kg;
Rosin 10 kg;
Liquid glass 37 °Be 6 kg.

Oils and fats are saponified with caustic soda at 15-10 °Be. For 100 kg there is about 125 kg of solution. For saponification, rosin requires 68 kg of caustic soda solution 30 °Be. Typically, oil and rosin are saponified separately. Both soaps are poured together and boiled until the foam disappears, after which the soap is salted out.

Soap polishing can be done in two ways:

The soap is completely salted out, the soapy lye is drained and a weak solution of sodium chloride or soluble glass is added.

Salting out can be done only partially, as a result of which a certain amount of water remains in the soap. When cooking soaps in coconut oil, salting out is not performed. You can cook soap in one step, in which case the rosin is pre-fused with oil, and then saponified. The finished mass is slightly cooled and poured into a mold.
