Stamp ink should produce clean, clear prints and should not dry out on the stamp. Stamp ink is made in different colors, but the most common is purple. The easiest way to make it from aniline paints.

Here is the tested composition of purple stamp ink:

  • 10 parts methyl violet;
  • 3 parts gum arabic;
  • 1 part glycerin;
  • 2 parts water.

Gum arabic is dissolved in cold water and mixed with glycerin, paint in powder is placed in a flat-bottomed porcelain mortar and ground with a porcelain pestle, gradually adding gum arabic with glycerin.

To get other colors they take the appropriate paint, for black - nigrosin, for red magenta, etc.

Stamp ink

  • Aniline paint of any color 30 g;
  • Boiled water 250 g;
  • Glycerin 250 g.

Heat the glycerin and mix all the substances. After 24 hours the paint is ready for use.

red stamp paint

  • Aniline red paint 20 g;
  • Dextrin 100 g;
  • Water 100 g;
  • Glycerin 800 g.

Dissolve the paint in water, add dextrin and glycerin, then stir until completely dissolved.

Stamp ink of any color

Aniline paint of any color (soluble in water) 20 g;

  • Glycerol 28 °Be 200 g;
  • Alcohol 96° 80 g;
  • Sugar 10 g;
  • Water 200 g.

Mix all parts until completely dissolved.

Mass for stamp inks (replaces stamp pads)

Dissolve aniline paint of any color in 30-40 g of glycerin. In the resulting liquid dissolve, by heating and stirring, 10 g of pre-softened glue for gilding. Still warm liquid mass is poured into small tin boxes. Air bubbles are removed by ironing with a sheet of hard cardboard. The mass, when it hardens, is covered with a white non-starched rare fabric. If the mass, due to long inactivity, hardens, then it is easy to restore its suitability by rubbing glycerin mass into the surface.

Stamp paint for marking livestock

According to the German patented method, such a paint is obtained by mixing 2 wt. h. coal tar and 1 h. weight of emetic stone.

After a few days after stamping the cattle, under the influence of paint, the wool in this place disappears and a new, shorter and different color grows.

Stamp ink for labeling linen

  • Nitrogen silver salt 25 g;
  • Gum Arabica 25 g;
  • Ammonia 60 g;
  • Soot go indigo 3 g.

Nitrogen silver salt and gum arabic are dissolved in water, ammonia is added and soot or indigo is triturated in the resulting mixture. The mass is smeared on a glass plate and linen is marked with an ordinary rubber stamp.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

New bipolar transistors MJL4281A (npn) and MJL4302 28.01.2004

ON SEMICONDUCTOR has released new MJL4281A (npn) and MJL4302 (pnp) bipolar transistors with high collector-emitter operating voltage (up to 350 V).

The maximum allowable collector current is up to 15 A, the gain is from 80 to 240. A distinctive feature of transistors is their exceptionally high linearity in the current range from 100 mA to 5 A, which allows them to be used in high-quality audio frequency amplifiers. Produced in cases TO-264.
