The device of such a "stopper", available for manufacturing to any skier, consists of only three parts. This is actually a thrust plate, a wire bracket to it and a mounting metal plate. The plate can be cut out of thick tin so that its width is somewhat narrower than the ski, and its length is about three or four thicknesses of the latter. One narrow edge of the plate is wrapped in a tube-loop, through which a bracket is passed, which acts as an axis. The method of fastening the stopper is clear from the figure.
