Millet hairy

Millet hairy - a common weed in the fields of the steppe zone, reaches the southern border of the Forest-Steppe. Comes from the mountainous regions of Mongolia. In the ancient Chinese "Book of Songs" it is noted that millet was the first cereal grain that people received from the Bountiful Gods. The name comes from the Latin "panis" - bread. For the ancient Greeks and Romans, millet was also the first cereal. It is the oldest culture of all Europe and Asia. Millet grains have been found in the remains of ancient pile structures in Switzerland.

Millet grain is collected together with panicles, which are dried and threshed. It is suitable for food after peeling in mortars or in a huller. In terms of taste, groats made from hairy millet (millet) almost do not differ from groats obtained from varieties of cultivated millet.

Currently not cultivated due to low yield.

Previously, in the Caucasus and in the Crimea, wild millet was used to brew an intoxicating drink with yeast - buza.

The existence of an entropy rule for quantum entanglement has been proven 09.05.2024

Quantum mechanics continues to amaze us with its mysterious phenomena and unexpected discoveries. Recently, Bartosz Regula from the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing and Ludovico Lamy from the University of Amsterdam presented a new discovery that concerns quantum entanglement and its relation to entropy. Quantum entanglement plays an important role in modern quantum information science and technology. However, the complexity of its structure makes understanding and managing it challenging. Regulus and Lamy's discovery shows that quantum entanglement follows an entropy rule similar to that for classical systems. This discovery opens new perspectives in the field of quantum information science and technology, deepening our understanding of quantum entanglement and its connection to thermodynamics. The results of the study indicate the possibility of reversibility of entanglement transformations, which could greatly simplify their use in various quantum technologies. Opening a new rule ... >>
