1. General requirements for labor protection

1.1. A worker at least 18 years of age who has professional training, a certificate for the right to drive a machine and has passed: a preliminary medical examination, introductory briefing; training in safe labor methods and techniques and testing knowledge of labor safety in the qualification commission; initial on-the-job training.

1.2. Universal distributors of road construction materials are self-propelled machines, have interchangeable working equipment and ensure the laying of crushed stone, gravel, stabilizing soil mixtures, asphalt and cement-concrete with their preliminary compaction. The self-propelled spreader DS-54 consists of running equipment, an engine with a transmission, organs and a control system. In the front part of the distributor there is a bunker, the supply of materials to which is made from a roller laid on the road base. The thickness of the layer of materials coming from the bunker is regulated by three slide gates controlled by handwheels independently of each other.

Crushed stone is distributed over the width of the laid strip by a plow blade and compacted by two working bodies, first by the joint movement and action of the vibrobeam - screed system, and then by vibrating plates pivotally connected to the frame of the working bodies.

1.3. The driver of the distributor of road building materials must have a driver's license.

1.4. The technical condition of the distributor must ensure the safety of its operation and transportation, and comply with the rules of technical operation.

1.5. The distributor of road construction materials is equipped with sound and light alarms, a first aid kit, a thermally insulated barrel of drinking water, and fire extinguishing equipment.

1.6. Distributor operators are allowed to work in the presence of the following PPE.

1.7. The driver of the distributor of road building materials cannot be put into operation without a written order from the chief mechanic (mechanic) responsible for the operation of the mechanism.

1.8. The road building materials distributor should be refueled using fueling devices on a level platform and only during the day.

Refueling of the distributor of road building materials at night is allowed only under artificial lighting, while it is forbidden to use open fire.

1.9. Each driver is assigned a specific machine by order or order for the enterprise. When transferring to a machine of another type or when changing the technological process, the driver must be familiar with the design of the machine, work methods and listen to additional safety instructions.

1.12. It is forbidden for the driver to transfer control of the asphalt concrete paver to anyone.

1.13. Highly visible posters and warning notices are posted at all dangerous places in the working area of the machines.

1.14. Before starting work on a new site, the driver must obtain permission from the foreman.

1.15. It is necessary to check the condition of the distributor of road building materials and eliminate the observed malfunctions. It is strictly forbidden to work on a malfunctioning machine, as this may lead to an accident.

1.16. The control platform must not be cluttered with foreign objects and tools.

1.17. It is strictly forbidden to be on the machine by persons not related to the performance of the work process, as well as to get off the distributor or sit on it while driving.

1.18. When working on the distributor at night and with poor visibility, the driver's workplace must be well lit.

1.19. The control platform, levers must be clean and dry.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2.1. Before starting the engine, you must: make sure that there are no foreign objects on rotating parts; make sure the gearshift lever is in the neutral position; Wipe dry all exterior parts of the machine that have been contaminated with gasoline or oil to prevent possible ignition.

2.2. Fire safety regulations must be observed when refueling, operating and maintaining an internal combustion engine.

2.3. It is strictly forbidden to use open fire to heat the engine at low temperatures.

2.4. When starting the engine in cold weather, hot water must be poured into the radiator, and heated oil into the crankcase.

2.5. After starting the engine, test it at idle.

2.6. Checking the fuel level in the tank is allowed only with a measuring ruler.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. When starting the distributor from its place, the driver is obliged to give a sound signal, which must always be in good order.

3.2. When driving downhill, turn on the first speed. It is forbidden to change gears when driving uphill.

3.3. During the movement of the distributor of road construction materials, the driver must be in his place at the control mechanisms, monitor the engine operation mode, instrumentation readings and the operation of the mechanisms.

3.4. Do not sit or stand on the frame while the paver is moving.

3.5. The distributor operator during work is obliged to monitor:

the state of the control dampers for regulating the crushed stone layer;
behind indications of control and measuring devices;
for normal engine operation;
for the correct operation of mechanisms controlled by working equipment;
behind the work area.

3.6. During the movement of the distributor, it is not allowed to pull out foreign objects that have fallen there from under the dump.

3.7. With the onset of twilight, light signals should be installed on all fences of the work site.

3.9. If it is necessary to stop the distributor on the road, it should be fenced with red flags, and in the dark - with red lights. Do not leave the distributor unattended with the engine running.

3.10. The operation of the distributor near power lines is allowed only if the horizontal distance between the extreme point of the stacker and the nearest wire of the power line is at least: at a voltage of up to 20 kW, the distance is at least 2 m.

3.11. The movement and operation of the distributor near power lines should be carried out under the direct supervision of a road organization specialist.

3.12. During the operation of the distributor, it is prohibited

transfer control of the machine to another person;
leave the distributor with the engine running;
transport people in the cabin.

3.13. Keep unauthorized persons away from the distributor during operation

3.14. On the distributor of road construction materials, lighting and light signaling means must be in good condition. Bright light sources should not interfere with passing traffic. Valley marker lights to be on constantly.

3.15. The distributor operator must monitor the condition of the hoses and their connections, preventing leakage of hydraulics from the system.

3.16. Lubricate, adjust and make any corrections to control mechanisms, hydraulic drives, etc. when the engine is running is prohibited.

4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In case of detection of equipment defects that pose a danger to human life and damage to the distributor of road building materials, immediately suspend work with an audible signal, as well as in the event of an accident.

4.2. In the event of a traffic accident and injury, the distributor driver must:

call an ambulance;
call the traffic police;
notify the manager.

4.3. If the hydraulic hose breaks, immediately turn off the engine and take measures to replace it. Notify the work manager.

4.4. To prevent steam burns or hot water ejected from the radiator when the engine overheats, the radiator cap is removed with a hand protected by a glove or rag.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1 After finishing work, the distributor driver must: put the machine in the place reserved for its parking, turn off the engine and turn on the brake; check the technical condition of the machine (inform the local mechanic about major malfunctions for them to be eliminated by the repair team, and fix minor malfunctions yourself).

5.3. In the cold season, drain the water from the radiator engine and the oil from the crankcase.

5.4. Clean the machine from dirt and soil, tighten the bolted connections, lubricate the rubbing parts.
