Safe Operation

1. General requirements for labor protection

This instruction applies to EChK employees who have completed training, passed exams and have the right to work from isolated lift sites.

The lift is designed to perform installation, repair and emergency recovery work on the contact network and overhead lines of electrified railways. Site management - remote; its rotation angle is 210°.

Work from the track axis at a distance of 6,8 m. Work from the working platform of the lift can be carried out provided that measures are taken to prevent falling of workers, electric shock, pinching when moving the platform in cramped conditions.

In places where the distance to the outermost live power wire is less than 40 m, work is carried out according to a work permit that determines safe working conditions.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

To work from an isolated lift platform, the following measures must be taken:

  • the lift driver, after receiving the target briefing, is issued a work permit;
  • the work manager must make sure that the lift is in good condition, check the timing of electrical and mechanical tests, as well as partial and full examinations;
  • all members of the brigade must be instructed by the head of work with a list in the order for the performance of this work;
  • entrance to the working platform of the lift and exit from it. must be carried out only through the transition platform, the entrance opening must be closed with a fence;
  • workers performing work from the working platform of the lift must work in protective helmets and a safety belt, the lift operator must wear a protective helmet.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

During work it is necessary:

  • not allow more than three employees to be on the working platform of the lift;
  • maintain continuous communication between the workers on the working site and the driver: when the platform is raised up to 10 meters - by voice, more than 10 meters - by sign alarm.
  • it is forbidden to sit down and stand on the elements of the fence, hang over the fences of the working platform of the lift.
  • it is forbidden to operate the lift at a wind speed of more than 10 m / s at a height of 10 meters, as well as during a thunderstorm, heavy rain, fog, snowfall, in low light, at an ambient temperature below that specified in the lift's passport.
  • at the place of production of works by a lift, the presence of persons is not allowed. not directly related to the work being done.

4. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

After work you need:

  • bring to the dimensions of the device on which the work was carried out.
  • collect the tool and mounting devices with which the work was performed, and remove it from the working platform of the lift to the bottom.
  • clean the working area from debris, parts and terminals of the contact network, nuts, bolts, wire, etc.
  • lower the fences of the working platform of the lift, the working team in accordance with the rules.

5. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

If, as a result of contact with current-carrying parts, the hoist becomes energized, touch them and fall from them to the ground, or climb them. until the voltage is removed - is prohibited.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Human Scent: From Babies to Teens 29.03.2024

The odors emitted by the human body are not only an essential part of our natural state, but also play a significant role in our relationships and communication. Recent research by American chemists is shedding light on differences in the composition of odors emanating from infants and adolescents, which may have important implications for our understanding of the influence of odors on human interactions.

A group of American chemists studied the composition of odors emanating from infants and adolescents and found significant differences between them. The study found that infants had higher levels of aromatic compounds reminiscent of soap, perfume and violets, while adolescents had unique compounds that smelled like sweat and musk.

The researchers conducted a comparative analysis of the body odors of 18 infants under three years of age and 18 adolescents aged 14 to 18 years. Participants in the experiment were advised to avoid eating foods with intense odors and using perfumed products for two days before collecting samples. After collecting underarm odor samples and conducting chemical analysis in the laboratory, the characteristic odor patterns for each age group were identified.

It has been established that adolescents have higher concentrations of carboxylic acids, and also have unique compounds characterized by the odors of sweat and musk. While babies have higher levels of aromatic compounds, giving them a more pleasant smell.

The composition of the odors emitted by the human body changes throughout life, and these changes can have important implications for interactions between people. Understanding these differences will help us better understand how odors influence our relationships and communication, and may lead to new methods of influencing interpersonal interactions through odor cues.
