1.3. During the operation of technological wells, trays and pipelines, persons who have reached the age of 18, who have undergone a medical examination, training, instruction and testing of knowledge on labor protection in the prescribed manner, are allowed.

1.4. All employees are provided with overalls, footwear and personal protective equipment in accordance with applicable standards. Personal protective equipment is stored in a specially equipped room.

1.5. Work in gas-hazardous places must be carried out according to the work permit for the performance of work of increased danger, drawn up in the prescribed manner and approved by the technical manager of the facility.

1.6. The tool used during work should be made of a material that does not cause sparking upon impact; cutting tools must be lubricated with grease before use.

1.7. Pipelines for flammable petroleum products must be properly grounded to dissipate static electricity.

Work carried out in wells in gas masks, every 15 minutes, should alternate with a 15-minute rest on the surface.

1.8. For internal lighting of technological wells and trays, it is recommended to use explosion-proof lights with a voltage of no more than 12 V, which are switched on and off outside the wells and trays.

1.9. In the control room, hang out the layout of ground and underground technological pipelines and locking devices installed on them.

1.10. In places where workers cross pipelines, transition platforms or bridges with railings should be installed.

1.11. It is not allowed to smoke, use open fire inside the well, tray.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2.1. Before starting work in technological wells, trays and pipelines, it is necessary to analyze the air environment with a gas analyzer. The results of the analysis should be documented in a certificate of the established form with the signatures of responsible persons.

2.2. If the gas contamination exceeds the established norms, it is necessary to determine the causes of gas contamination, do not start repair work until they are eliminated.

2.3. Purge pipelines with increased gas contamination with steam or inert gas.

In wells with increased gas content, intensive injection of fresh air should be carried out. The effectiveness of ventilation is controlled by repeated analysis of the air environment.

2.4. If there is an oil product in technological wells, trays, pipelines, remove it.

2.5. Before starting repair work in wells and trays, disconnect pipelines from all tanks and other pipelines.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. To carry out work in technological wells, trays, pipelines according to the issued permit for carrying out work of increased danger, the following are assigned:

  • at least three people - when working in wells, of which two must be on the surface and constantly monitor the worker inside;
  • at least two people - when working in trays and on pipelines.

3.2. Work in technological wells and trays must be carried out if workers have PSh-1 gas masks, webbing safety belts and safety ropes.

The end of the safety rope from the life belt of the person working in the technological well must be in the hands of the observer.

One of the observers during work in the technological well must have a gas mask.

3.3. Trays and wells on pipelines should be kept clean and cleaned regularly. Accumulation of oil products in them is not allowed.

3.4. Manhole covers should be easily opened with special hooks made of non-sparking material. It is not allowed to use crowbars, pipes, etc., which can cause a spark, to open and close covers of wells and pipeline fittings.

3.5. Gate valves, taps, valves should be opened and closed smoothly to avoid water hammer and pipeline failure.

3.6. On non-working pipelines, valves must be closed.

3.7. Do not remove plugs formed in pipelines with steel or other devices that can cause sparks from friction or blows against the pipe.

3.8. It is not allowed to carry out any work on the repair of pipelines and valves during the pumping of oil products.

3.9. After installation or repair, the pipeline should be blown or flushed to remove dirt, scale and foreign objects.

3.10. If an ice plug forms in the pipeline:

  • make an external inspection of the frozen area to make sure that there are no gaps and establish the boundaries of the formation of an ice plug;
  • disconnect the pipeline from the general system;
  • heating of the ice plug should be started from the ends of the frozen section;
  • it is not allowed to thaw a frozen section in a burst pipeline until it is turned off. Only steam, hot water or heated sand should be used to heat the ice plug. Open fire during heating is not allowed.

3.11. Replacement of gaskets and shut-off valves on pipelines is allowed only after pressure relief, release from the product and disconnection of the pipeline from existing pipelines.

4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

4.1. During the operation of technological wells, trays and pipelines, the following emergencies may occur:

  • increased gas content in wells and trays;
  • leakage of oil products through leaks in gaskets and glands in shutoff valves;
  • leaking welds or pipeline rupture.

4.2. In all emergencies, it is necessary to report this to the management of the enterprise or the employee responsible for the performance of work, and then proceed according to the emergency response plan.

4.3. If the gas content has increased during work, the victim should be removed from the danger zone using protective equipment (hose gas mask ПШ-1).

4.4. In case of poisoning with toxic gases, it is necessary to remove the victim from the well, tray, free from restrictive clothing, provide fresh air, rest, warmth, give a sniff of ammonia. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration. Call an ambulance.

If oil gets into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1. After inspecting the shut-off valves or using them, close the covers of technological wells, after making sure that there are no people left in the well, tools and materials are removed.

5.2. Trays after repair should be covered with fire-resistant plates.

5.3. If the work performed belonged to the category of hot or gas hazardous work, then close the work permit for the performance of work of increased danger.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Schizophrenia-causing cells identified 26.05.2018

Schizophrenia is a very severe, devastating and widespread disorder. Genetic studies have linked hundreds of genes to schizophrenia, each of which contributes a small amount to the risk of developing the disease - such a huge number of experiments made it difficult to conduct experiments. Scientists needed to understand what binds these genes together and how exactly they affect the brain - diffusely to the whole or to separate parts.

It has been hypothesized that schizophrenia is based on several types of cells that affect different areas of the brain. In the course of the study, scientists were able to identify these types of cells.

"This marks a transition to where we can use large genetic studies to understand the biology of the disease. The results of this study give the scientific community the opportunity to focus their efforts where it will have the greatest impact," says Jens Hjerling-Leffler, head of the research team. in the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Karolinska Institute, one of the main authors.

Now scientists are investigating the links between cell types and specific clinical features of schizophrenia. "For example, a large dysfunction in one cell type may reduce the likelihood of a positive response to treatment. And a dysfunction in another cell type may increase the chances of a long-term cognitive effect. This is important for the development of new treatments, since separate drugs may be required for each cell type," says co-author Patrick Sullivan.

Rapid advances in single cell genetics and transcriptomics have made it possible to study diseases in this way. The researchers suggest that in the near future, such a genetic approach will lead to a breakthrough in biological understanding and other complex disorders - such as autism, major depression and eating disorders.

"Understanding which cell types influence disease is critical to developing new drugs. If we don't know what causes a disorder, we can't study how to treat it," says Nathan Skene, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics. Karolinska Institute and the Institute of Neurology, University College London, one of the lead authors of the study.
