Safety requirements

1. Persons of the age established for a specific profession (type of work) of the Labor Code and the List of industries, professions and jobs with difficult and harmful working conditions, where the use of women's labor is prohibited, and the List of industries, professions and jobs with difficult and harmful conditions under which the employment of persons under the age of 18 is prohibited.

2. Applicants must undergo a preliminary medical examination and, if necessary, a periodic examination and anti-encephalitis vaccinations.

After that - training in labor protection:

  • induction training;
  • primary at the workplace followed by an internship and in the future - repeated, unscheduled and targeted briefings;
  • once a year - coursework.

Training standards may be different depending on the profession and type of work (electrician, crane operator, slinger, forest fire fighting, work in an area contaminated with radionuclides, maintenance of boilers, lifting mechanisms, etc.).

3. To control the machine, mechanism, chainsaw, etc. persons with special training, confirmed by an appropriate certificate, are allowed, and an additional electrical safety approval group is allowed to access electrical equipment.

4. The employee is obliged to comply with the labor internal regulations established for a specific profession and type of work, work and rest regime, fire and electrical safety rules.

5. Dangerous and harmful production factors:

  • falling trees and their parts;
  • windfall-windfall, burnt, dead, faut and other dangerous trees, undergrowth, shrubs;
  • moving machines, aggregates;
  • manual motor tool;
  • rotating parts and cutting working bodies of machines, mechanisms, motor tools;
  • push strokes of forestry units;
  • increased levels of vibration, noise, gas pollution, dustiness;
  • pesticides and pesticides;
  • adverse natural and weather conditions;
  • blood-sucking insects;
  • flame;
  • smoke;
  • increased levels of radiation;
  • lack of illumination.

6. The effect of adverse factors: the possibility of injury and getting a general or occupational disease, malaise, decreased performance.

7. In order to reduce the impact on employees of hazardous and harmful production factors, the employer is obliged to: provide them with free overalls, safety shoes, safety devices for professions, types of work in accordance with the current Standard Industry Standards for their free issue and concluded collective agreements, vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis and other preventive measures for injuries and morbidity.

8. The employee is obliged: to perform the work for which he has been trained and instructed in labor protection and for the performance of which he has the task; comply with the requirements of the labor protection instructions, internal labor regulations, do not drink alcohol, smoke in designated areas and comply with fire safety requirements; work in overalls and footwear, correctly use personal and group protective equipment, know and follow the rules of travel in passenger transport.

9. In the event of an accident, you must:

  • provide first aid to the victim (each employee must know the procedure for its provision and the appointment of medicines in an individual first aid kit);
  • if possible, preserve the situation of the case;
  • if necessary, call an ambulance and report the incident to the immediate supervisor of the works.

10. Report all malfunctions of mechanisms, equipment, violations of technological regimes, deterioration of working conditions, emergency situations to the administration and take preventive measures according to the circumstances, ensuring their own safety.

11. In accordance with the current legislation, the employee is obliged to comply with the requirements of instructions, labor protection rules, constantly and correctly use personal and group protective equipment. Timely undergo preliminary and periodic medical examinations, anti-encephalitis vaccinations and other measures to prevent morbidity and injuries. In case of establishing a violation that led to an accident or other case of health impairment, partial fault of the victim himself and mixed liability may be established with a decrease in the percentage of payment for a sick leave, and if this led to serious consequences for others, a measure of responsibility established by current legislation.

12. On the basis of this Model Instruction, section 1 "General safety requirements" is drawn up for the instruction of professions and types of work in the field conditions of a particular forestry. At the same time, dangerous and harmful production factors, personal protective equipment issued and other requirements inherent in specific working conditions are specified.
