Filter screens should be inspected before any flooding and cleaned if contaminated. 2.5. It is forbidden to pour hot binder material into the tank if water, solvent, etc. are found in it, as well as to thin the binder material in it. 2.6. In the process of filling the tank, the driver must monitor the level indicator and stop the supply of binder in a timely manner. It is not allowed to overfill the tank more than 3/4 of the capacity and the leakage of the binder through the overflow pipe. 2.7. To avoid burns, tighten and disconnect the pick-up sleeve when pumping viscous substances that have a high temperature, only in gloves. 2.8. It is forbidden to fill the asphalt distributor tank with buckets, buckets and other containers. After filling the tank, turn off the pump, close the shut-off valve. 2.9. It is forbidden to heat viscous substances in the tank of the asphalt distributor if its level above the fire tubes is less than 20 cm, and also if the tank is completely filled and there is no free volume for the expansion of the binder when heated. 2.10. The fuel tank for the operation of the injectors must not be filled with gasoline instead of kerosene, since the burners of the heating system are designed only for its use. 2.11. Before igniting the nozzle, the asphalt distributor operator must check the reliability of the fuel line connection, the serviceability of the fuel supply, the pressure in the fuel tank, and the absence of drops and leakage of bitumen. 2.12. It is necessary to light the nozzle only with the help of a torch (lighter) with a handle 1-5 m long, while igniting and adjusting the nozzles should be standing on the side. Fuel must first be supplied in a weak jet, gradually increasing its supply to normal. 2.13. To prevent bitumen overheating, the driver must monitor the normal operation of the burners and the temperature of the binder, and prevent kerosene jets from entering the flame tubes. 2.14. It is forbidden to leave the operating heating system unattended, as well as pour fuel into the fuel tank while the burners are operating. 2.15. Before starting the movement and before stopping, the driver must give a warning sound signal. 2.16. When driving on the road, you should take an extreme position. It is not allowed to change gears when going up and down, as well as when driving on a bridge or railway crossing. 2.17. Crossing railroad tracks is allowed only at existing crossings. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. Before the spill of viscous material begins, it is necessary to extinguish the nozzles and close the valves of the fuel supply pipeline. 3.2. When spilling bitumen, it is forbidden for unauthorized persons to be closer than 10 m from the distribution pipes of the asphalt distributor. 3.3. It is forbidden to lift the distribution pipes after spilling the binder before switching to circulation. 3.4. The driver is prohibited from:
4. Safety requirements during maintenance and repair of the asphalt distributor 4.1. Maintenance and repair of asphalt distributors is allowed to persons who have the appropriate qualifications, are familiar with the equipment, the requirements of passports and instructions for their operation, as well as the requirements of labor protection during the performance of work. 4.2. Maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment should be carried out only in specially designated areas that ensure the stability of the machine, good lighting and convenient access to all components and parts. 4.3. The asphalt distributor, which is sent for maintenance or repair, must be cleaned of dirt and dust, and its tank is filled with several buckets of solvent (kerosene, diesel fuel). After that, it is necessary to circulate for 3-5 minutes, then close the shut-off valve of the tank and leave the solvent in it until the next working day. 4.4. When repairing outside the inspection ditch, overpass or lift, persons performing repairs must be provided with sun loungers (trestle beds). It is forbidden to work without deck chairs (bedding) on the floor (ground). 4.5. It is forbidden to repair and maintain machines with wheels removed, hung only on jacks or other lifting devices. Stands used for hanging (tragus, sleeper cages) must be strong. 4.6. To prevent burns (frostbite) with hot steam and water (antifreeze) when the engine overheats, the radiator cap must be removed wearing gloves, standing on the windward side. 4.7. Maintenance and repair of asphalt distributors with the engine running is prohibited, except for engine adjustment and brake testing. Check the serviceability of the brakes should only be on specially designated sites. 4.8.
