Reliably strengthen the workpiece in the centers of the machine. 3.5. Feed the cutting tool to the workpiece only at the moment of full rotation of the spindle. 3.6. Processing of long workpieces is carried out in the centers, short - in the chuck. 3.7. Do not grind glued parts at high speeds, process them, having previously fastened them with staples or strips. 3.8. To process the end surface, use plates with spikes. 3.9. When processing parts with a length of more than 0,8 m, it is necessary to use a special stop stand - adjustable rest. 3.10. Set the number of revolutions of the machine depending on the diameter of the workpiece. 3.11. If during the turning of the workpiece there is a scuffing of the wood fibers, change the direction of movement of the chisel or cutting. 3.12. Do not work with a blunt tool. Change the cutting tool with the machine turned off. 3.13. Do not measure parts while the machine is running. 3.14. Place the processed parts in stable stacks on racks or underfoot places. The height of the stack should not exceed 1,5 m. 3.15. Periodically during operation, clean the machine. Remove chips and fingers only with a brush, broom or scraper. 3.16. Do not lean on the table, do not sit on it while the machine is in operation. 3.17. Do not place tools, fixtures and other items on the table and machine bed. 3.18. Before stopping the machine, turn off the feed and move the cutting tool away from the workpiece, otherwise the tool may break. 3.19. Dressing or undressing near the operating equipment is prohibited. 4. Labor protection requirements at the end of work 4.1. Stop the machine, turn off the switch, disconnect the electric motor from the network. 4.2. Collect and check the availability and serviceability of tools and fixtures, put them in the place provided for them. 4.3. Tidy up the workplace, remove materials, waste, wipe and lubricate the equipment, carefully fold the remaining workpieces. 4.4. Remove unused cleaning material and fold in a closed metal container provided for this purpose to avoid fire. 4.5. Take off work clothes and shoes, clean them from dust, dirt and carefully place them in the workwear compartment of an individual closet. 4.6. Report any problems you see that need to be fixed. 4.7.
