Safe Operation

1. General requirements for labor protection

1.1. Persons who have a higher professional education, who have undergone a medical examination and instructions on labor protection are allowed to work as a speech therapist teacher.

1.2. The teacher-speech therapist in his work should:

know and fulfill their job responsibilities, instructions on labor protection, life and health of children, safety precautions, fire safety;
pass introductory and primary briefings at the workplace;
comply with the internal labor regulations;
established modes of work and rest (according to the work schedule);
comply with the requirements of personal hygiene, keep the workplace clean;
ensure compliance with the norms and rules of labor protection, life and health of children during the organization of the educational process with students.

1.3. When working as a speech therapist teacher, you may be exposed to the following harmful production factors:

electric shock when turning on electric lighting or using faulty electrical appliances;
electric shock when turning on and using TCO equipment;
impaired visual acuity in insufficient illumination of the workplace, as well as visual fatigue during prolonged work with documents and on the computer;
ionizing, non-ionizing radiation and electromagnetic fields when working on a computer.

1.4. In the event of an accident, the victim or an eyewitness to the accident is obliged to immediately notify the manager; if the equipment malfunctions, stop work and inform the manager or his deputy for A&R.

1.5. The speech therapist teacher is obliged to comply with fire safety rules, know the location of primary fire extinguishing equipment, and escape routes in the event of a fire.

1.6. In the process of work, a speech therapist teacher is obliged to observe the rules of personal hygiene, keep the workplace clean, and fulfill hygienic requirements for organizing and conducting educational classes with students.

1.7. A speech therapist teacher who fails to comply with or violates labor safety instructions is subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the internal labor regulations and, if necessary, is subjected to an extraordinary test of knowledge of labor safety norms and regulations.

2. Requirements for labor protection before starting work

2.1. Turn on the lighting fully and make sure the lamps are working properly:

lamps must be securely attached to the ceiling and have light-diffusing fittings;
switching boxes must be closed with lids, and electrical sockets must be closed with false plugs;
cases and covers of switches and sockets should not have cracks and chips, as well as bare contacts.
the minimum illumination of the workplace should be: with fluorescent lamps - at least 300 lux (20 W / sq. m), with incandescent lamps - at least 150 lux (48 W / sq. m);

2.1. Make sure that electrical equipment, technical equipment, and office equipment in the office are in good condition.

2.2. Ventilate the room and prepare the necessary material and equipment for work.

2.3. When using electrical appliances, TCO and office equipment (computer, copier, etc.), make sure they are in good condition and the integrity of the supply cables and electrical plugs.

3. Requirements for labor protection during work

3.1. Maintain order and do not clutter the workplace or emergency exits with foreign objects.

3.2. If there is insufficient illumination of the workplace, use a table lamp for additional illumination.

3.3. When working with office equipment, TSO, observe safety precautions against electric shock:

do not connect or disconnect devices from the power supply with wet or damp hands;
observe the sequence of turning on and off office equipment, TSO, and do not disrupt technological processes;
Do not leave connected devices unattended, especially when operating a printer or copier.

3.4. When working with a computer, follow the “Occupational Safety Instructions for Working on a Personal Computer,” and when working with a copier, follow the “Occupational Safety Instructions for Operating a Copier.”

3.5. To maintain a healthy microclimate, the room should be ventilated every 2 hours of operation.

3.6. When working with documents and on a computer for a long time, in order to reduce fatigue of the visual analyzer, eliminate the influence of physical inactivity and hypokinesia, and prevent the development of postural fatigue, after every hour of work, take a break for 10-15 minutes, during which you should perform a set of exercises for the eyes, physical training breaks and minutes.

3.7. Do not leave students alone in the classroom unattended. At the end of classes, hand over the students to the group teacher.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In the event of emergency situations that threaten the life and health of pupils, it is necessary to take measures for their urgent evacuation, according to the plan. Report the incident to the head teacher or senior teacher.

4.2. In case of a sudden illness of the pupil, urgently call a health worker.

4.3. Do not start work if you feel unwell or have a sudden illness.

4.4. If the equipment malfunctions, stop work and immediately inform the deputy head of A&R. Continue work only after the problem has been eliminated.

4.5. If a fire occurs, immediately notify the manager and the nearest fire department by calling 01, and begin evacuating the students to the evacuation site.

4.6. If you receive an injury, immediately seek medical help from the medical office and report this to the head or senior teacher.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. Ventilate the office, close the window, transom.

5.2. Tidy up the workplace.

5.3. Turn off electrical appliances, office equipment and TCO equipment.

5.4. Turn off the lights, close the office with a key.

5.5. Report any shortcomings noted during work to the manager or his deputy for administrative and administrative affairs.
