Safe Operation

1. General safety requirements

1.1. Persons not younger than 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination, introductory and primary briefing at the workplace, training in safe labor methods, completed an internship for 12-15 shifts, and a knowledge test by the qualification commission of the plant are allowed to independently maintain equipment for the sale of compound feed on vehicles.

1.2. The employee must comply with the internal labor regulations of the enterprise, exclude the use of alcoholic, narcotic and toxic drugs before and during work, smoking is allowed only in designated places. The employee must know the safety rules when using the elevator, hold on to the railing when walking up the stairs, and observe safety precautions while on the territory of the enterprise.

1.3. When servicing a compound feed dispensing device for vehicles, an employee may be exposed to the following hazardous and harmful production factors:

drop cone;
drive, its rotating parts, moving steel rope.
dustiness.

1.4. According to standard industry standards, a worker selling compound feed is required to wear special clothing for vehicles: a cotton suit, a cotton helmet, a cotton cotton jacket.

1.5. To ensure fire and explosion safety, the worker for the release of compound feed on vehicles must monitor the operation of the release devices.

1.6. In cases of injury, an employee or an eyewitness must immediately inform the shift supervisor or the head of the shop, who is obliged to immediately organize assistance to the victim, if necessary, medical assistance must be provided to the victim. If possible, it is necessary to maintain the workplace environment and the condition of the equipment as it was at the time of the incident, if this does not endanger the health of others and does not lead to an accident.

In cases of detection of malfunctions, violations of the technological process, the employee reports this to the shift supervisor, the head of the shop.

1.7. The worker must be able to provide first aid in case of accidents: apply a tourniquet in case of bleeding, do artificial respiration.

1.8. The employee must observe the rules of personal hygiene.

1.9. An employee who does not comply with the requirements of labor safety rules and these instructions is liable in accordance with the internal labor regulations of the plant.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

Before starting work, the employee must:

2.1. Put on overalls, a headdress, the cuffs of the sleeves and trousers of the suit must be buttoned up, the hair is tucked under the headdress;

2.2. Conduct an external inspection of the serviced equipment. When identifying malfunctions in the operation of the equipment, find out the causes and take measures to eliminate them;

2.3. Check the presence of guards, their serviceability and reliability of fastening at the installation sites.

2.4. Check for sufficient lighting in the workplace.

2.5. Check the presence and serviceability of the grounding of current collectors.

2.6. The employee must comply with the requirements of industrial sanitation.

3. Safety requirements when performing work

3.1. The employee must monitor the uniform flow of the product to the dispenser.

3.2. Entry of vehicles for loading should be carried out freely, without maneuvering.

3.3. The worker for the release of compound feed during loading is located on the site at the push-button station of the corresponding release device.

3.4. When servicing the release device, the following main types of deviations and malfunctions from normal operation are possible:

dust emission when loading feed trucks at the junctions of the fabric sleeve with the upper head or lower cone due to the loosening of the clamps;
dust emission through the cable exit hole due to wear of the rubber seal;
release of dust in the intake pipe of feed trucks due to deformation of the lower cone;
the lower cone of the release sleeve bounces on the receiving socket of the feed truck during its loading due to the loss of filter fabric throughput (clogged with dust);
the shutter does not extend due to the skew of the lower cone, which entered the branch pipe of the feed truck;
when lifting the sleeve, the lower cone bends to the side due to the remainder of the compound feed in the sleeve;
when the hopper valve is open, the compound feed does not enter the container of the feed truck due to the fact that it is clogged with dust and the filter fabric has lost its throughput, as a result of which the roof has broken;
if malfunctions are detected during operation, it is necessary to stop supplying the product to the dispensing device, inform the shift foreman or the head of the workshop.

3.5. Troubleshooting should be carried out only when the equipment is completely stopped.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. Accidents or accidents can result from:

breakage of the lower cone;
the presence of electricity voltage on the equipment cases;
lack of protective guards on drives that cover its moving parts;
damage, sparking or ignition of wiring or electrical equipment;
blockage of equipment with a product.

4.2. In the event of an emergency, the equipment must be immediately stopped, the shift foreman or the foreman must be informed.

4.3. In cases of injury, poisoning, sudden illness, the victims must be given first aid.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. At the end of the work, the feed dispenser makes a complete stop of the equipment. Cleaning of dust, product from the outer surface of the equipment is carried out with a sweeping brush; for cleaning the floor, a brush with a long handle is used.

5.2. Report malfunctions, comments during work to the foreman, head of the shop.

5.3. At the end of the shift, the worker must put the overalls in the wardrobe, take a shower.

5.4. You should not stay in the shop, on the territory of the plant after the end of the shift without the knowledge of the foreman, head of the shop.
