I. General Provisions

  • technical specifications for testing, adjustment and acceptance of components, mechanisms and machines after repair;
  • ways to determine the causes of accidents and premature wear of parts;
  • ways to restore and strengthen worn parts;
  • properties of metals and alloys used in reloading machines;
  • rules for stowage of alloys, cargo on ships, wagons, motor vehicles and warehouses;
  • rules for transshipment of various cargoes;
  • methods of slinging and slinging of all goods;
  • basic properties of goods, containers, types of packaging and marking of goods;
  • basic information about port reloading machines and railway rolling stock;
  • traffic rules when crossing railway tracks and railway signaling.

II. Official duties

The machine operator of the complex brigade at loading and unloading operations performs the following job responsibilities:

  1. Carrying out loading and unloading operations in wagons, ships, cars, warehouses using reloading machines, mechanisms and devices.
  2. Control of cranes equipped with various load-handling devices, loaders, winches, hoists, elevators, conveyors.
  3. Control of all intra-port transport vehicles with electric drive and all special hold, wagon, warehouse reloading machines with various types of drive, as well as vehicles driven by internal combustion engines and trucks.
  4. Independent transshipment of all cargo.
  5. Acting as a signalman, slinger.
  6. Performing locksmith work on the repair of machines, mechanisms and devices.

III. Rights

The machine operator of the complex team at loading and unloading operations has the right to:

  1. give assignments to subordinate employees, tasks on a range of issues included in his functional duties;
  2. control the fulfillment of production tasks, the timely execution of individual orders by employees subordinate to him;
  3. to request and receive the necessary materials and documents related to the issues of their activities and activities of employees subordinate to him;
  4. interact with other services of the enterprise on production and other issues that are part of its functional duties;
  5. get acquainted with the draft decisions of the company's management regarding the activities of the Division;
  6. propose for consideration by the manager proposals for improving the work related to the duties provided for in this Job Description;
  7. submit for consideration by the head of the proposal on the promotion of distinguished employees, the imposition of penalties on violators of production and labor discipline;
  8. report to the manager on all identified violations and shortcomings in connection with the work performed.

IV. A responsibility

The operator of an integrated team during loading and unloading operations is responsible for:

  1. improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine;
  2. violation of the rules and regulations governing the activities of the enterprise;
  3. offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine;
  4. infliction of material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine;
  5. compliance with current instructions, orders and orders for the preservation of trade secrets and confidential information;
  6. compliance with internal regulations, safety and fire safety rules.

Why is it difficult to sleep in a new place? 04.05.2016

When someone says that it is difficult for him to fall asleep in a new place, he is not making it up - indeed, sleep researchers have long known that sometimes a person who finds himself in an unfamiliar bed falls asleep for a long time and then sleeps badly all night.

Masako Tamaki and her colleagues at Brown University found that we don't get enough sleep in a new place because we literally sleep with only one hemisphere. For the experiment, several dozen volunteers were invited to the laboratory, who were supposed to spend two nights here.

Brain activity was recorded using a whole range of methods: magnetoencephalography, which can be used to observe magnetic fields arising from the electrical activity of certain brain areas; structural magnetic resonance imaging, which allows you to see the structure of the brain and evaluate the volume of nervous tissue; polysomnography, when the course of sleep is assessed simultaneously by EEG, by heart rate, by eye movement, by muscle activity, plus a number of other parameters. Neuroscientists were primarily interested in slow-wave brain activity, indicating the depth of sleep.

If on the second night in the laboratory the right and left hemispheres worked in the same way, plunging into deep sleep, then on the first night the left worked differently - the so-called default neural network was actively functioning in it.

A characteristic feature of the default circuit is that its neurons remain active when a person is not busy with anything, does not perform any specific task, when he is simply idle. (Some believe that it is this network, which works by default, that provides us with what can be called self-awareness, the understanding that I am I.) However, its activity is most pronounced in the waking state - from which we can conclude that in the first night the brain actually slept only with its one - right - half.

In another version of the experiment, participants had to sleep to the accompaniment of beeping, repeated throughout the night at random intervals. Judging by the reaction of the brain, the sleepers heard the sound, but, again, on the first night, the left hemisphere reacted most strongly to it.

Finally, at the third stage, if a sound signal was heard through a dream, it was necessary to press a special button with a finger. The sound itself came either from the left or the right, and, as it turned out, a person woke up faster and more often when something came to him from the right - that is, when the beep went to the left hemisphere.

Scientists have concluded that in a new place, only one hemisphere, the right hemisphere, plunges into a truly deep sleep, while the left hemisphere balances on the verge of sleep and wakefulness.
