I. General Provisions

  1. Qualification requirements:
  • Leading hydraulic engineer (irrigation and drainage systems): complete higher education in the relevant field of training (master, specialist) and advanced training, work experience in the profession of hydraulic engineer (irrigation and drainage systems) category I - at least 2 years.
  • Hydraulic engineer (irrigation and drainage systems) Category I: higher professional (technical) education and advanced training; for a master - no requirements for work experience, for a specialist - work experience in the profession of hydraulic engineering (irrigation and drainage systems) category II - at least 2 years.
  • Hydraulic engineer (irrigation and drainage systems) category II: higher professional (technical) education, etc. Work experience in the profession of hydraulic engineering (irrigation and drainage systems) - at least 2 years.
  • Hydraulic engineer (irrigation and drainage systems): complete higher education in the relevant field of training (specialist) with no work experience requirements.

II. Official duties

The Hydraulic Technician is responsible for the following:

  1. Ensures the implementation of organizational and technical measures to maintain all elements of the reclamation system in good working order and operational condition in accordance with the requirements stipulated by legislative acts and other regulatory documents.
  2. Organizes, together with land users and owners of reclaimed lands, the development and implementation of a system of engineering measures to ensure the technological integrity of the functioning of reclamation systems.
  3. Determines performers, makes proposals regarding sources of financing for supervision, maintenance of systems, carrying out current and major repairs, monitors their implementation and accepts the work performed.
  4. Introduces new equipment, advanced technologies and small-scale mechanization equipment to carry out repair and maintenance work.
  5. Provides passage of floods and floods and preparation of systems for the growing season.
  6. Organizes rational water use in irrigation systems, timely and uninterrupted water supply to water users within the specified time frame.
  7. Organizes water distribution equipment with water metering devices and accounts for water entering the irrigation system.
  8. Contributes to the organization of the operation of sprinkler equipment, monitors compliance with scientifically based irrigation regimes.
  9. Provides conditions for creating and maintaining an optimal water-air regime in the root layer on drained lands.
  10. Introduces measures to strictly conserve water, energy and financial resources by complying with established limits.
  11. Participates in the work of commissions to determine the technical condition of elements of reclamation systems, makes proposals to improve their technical level.
  12. Carries out daily monitoring of staff compliance with the rules for the technical operation of elements of the reclamation network, monitors workers' compliance with labor protection requirements, labor discipline and internal regulations.

III. Rights

The hydraulic engineer has the right:

  1. Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
  2. Participate in the discussion of issues related to the performance of his duties.
  3. Make suggestions for improving the work related to the provisions of this instruction.
  4. Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor about all those identified in the course of his activities, and make proposals for their elimination.
  5. Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties.

IV. A responsibility

The hydraulic engineer is responsible

  1. For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties, as well as for non-use or directly to their rights provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
  2. For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
  3. For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on labor of Ukraine.

The new concept of the Internet from AllSeen Alliance 12.12.2013

Manufacturers of devices, network equipment and electronic components announced the creation of the AllSeen Alliance. Its goal is to develop a single industry standard through which communication between devices in the concept of "Internet of things" will be carried out. The members of the alliance call it the "Internet of Everything" and will jointly develop software and channel resources to create an open framework. It will enable device manufacturers, service providers and developers to create interoperable devices and services.

The alliance includes Panasonic, Haier, LG Electronics, Sharp, TP-Link, HTC, Harman, Qualcomm, Cisco, D-Link, Silicon Image, Canary, Fon, LeTV, LIFX, LiteOn, Moxtreme, Sears Holdings, Sproutling, The Sprosty Network, Weaved, doubleTwist and Wilocity are 24 companies in total. They will use operating systems with the Linux kernel in their solutions, and the Linux Foundation, a non-profit organization, will be responsible for software development.

Equipment and component manufacturers will use the AllJoyn open platform, developed by the world's largest chipmaker for smartphones and tablets Qualcomm, which is also a member of the alliance, as the basis for connecting devices in the "Internet of Everything" concept.

The platform is based on a network topology with a nodal structure, in which each node serves not only to transmit and receive its own data, but also as an intermediate point for data transmission between neighboring nodes.
