I. General Provisions

The slinger belongs to the category of workers.
A person who has been instructed on the rules for working with goods, who has undergone special training in accordance with the rules for the design and operation of lifting mechanisms, is appointed to the position of a slinger.
Appointment to the position of a slinger and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the General Director of the enterprise.
The slinger obeys _______.
The slinger must know:

crane device, its load capacity depending on the reach, the position of additional supports, etc.;
be able to select the feet necessary for work (according to the carrying capacity, the number of branches, the length and angle of inclination of the branches of the sling to the vertical) and other lifting devices, depending on the weight and nature of the cargo being transported;
production of suitability of slings and other removable load-handling devices and containers;
correct tying and hanging the load on the hook;
container filling rates;
the established procedure for exchanging signals with the crane operator;
order and dimensions of warehousing of goods;
the procedure for the safe operation of self-propelled jib cranes near power lines;
techniques for releasing energized persons from the action of electric current and methods for providing them with first aid;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
rules and norms of labor protection;
safety regulations;
rules of industrial sanitation;
fire protection rules;
this Job Description;
internal labor regulations for employees;
collective agreement;
pay clause.

II. Official duties

The slinger is obliged:

Cargo strapping or hooking should be carried out in accordance with the cargo slinging schemes.
Check the weight of the load intended to be moved by crane, according to the list of weights of the goods or according to the markings on the load.
When tying the load, apply ropes or chains to the main array (frame, frame, body, frame) without knots, twists and loops.
Under the sharp edges of the loads, special linings should be placed to protect the slings from damage.
Tie the load in such a way that during the movement the fall of its individual parts is excluded.
Before lifting the load, make sure that the load is not secured, pinched, choked or frozen to the ground.
Accompany the load when moving and make sure that it does not move over people and cannot catch on anything.
To prevent spontaneous reversal of long and bulky loads during their movement and lifting, use special braces.

III. Rights

The slinger has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to their official duties.
Submit proposals for the improvement of the work related to the duties provided for in this instruction for consideration by your immediate supervisor.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor of all shortcomings identified in the course of the performance of official duties and make proposals for their elimination.

IV. A responsibility

The slinger is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Space rocket powered by coal 29.05.2023
