The signaling device consists of a switching device with a time relay RV and a control panel PU. The switching device includes a remote switch on the relay K1, capacitor C1, diode V3 and resistor R5; the time relay is assembled on transistors V7 and V9. The signaling device is transferred to its initial state by briefly applying voltage to the right windings of the relays K1 and K3 according to the circuit (pins 1, 10), or, which is the same, to pin 7 of the signaling device. To do this, press the button S3 with the toggle switch S1 off. Relays K1 and K3 are two-winding polarized, with two stable states. Such relays can be switched by short current pulses applied to one of the windings.

After turning on the signaling device with toggle switch S1, through the closed contacts of relay K1 and diode V1, the voltage of the on-board network will go to the low-power left side lamp H1 of the direction indicator. This lamp will turn on, but the remaining lamps (H2, H3) of the left turn indicator will not light up, since a V2 diode is included in their circuit, which excludes overcurrent of contacts K1.1 and diode V1.

When the driver's door is opened, the contacts of the sensor-switch S4 are closed and the capacitor C1 is charged to a voltage close to the voltage of the power source. At the same time, the lamp H5 of the interior ceiling lights up. When any other door, trunk or hood is open, the contacts of one of the switches S5-S10 are closed and the second interior lamp H4 is on. In this case, the diode V1 is additionally included in the charge circuit of the capacitor C11. If at the moment the toggle switch S1 is turned on, the contacts of any of the sensors are closed (for example, the door is open), the capacitor C1 is charged immediately.

When all doors are closed (including the trunk and hood), capacitor C1 is discharged through lamp 115 of the interior ceiling lamp and the winding of relay K1 left according to the diagram. The discharge current will switch relay K1, its contacts 9 and 8 will open the circuit of the lamp H1 of the left side direction indicator, and it will go out. In this mode, the device does not consume current. The presence of the H2 lamp is a necessary condition for the operation of the security device.

When any of the contacts S5-S10 is closed (when opening any door except the driver's door or the hood, or when trying to remove the windshield), relay K3 will immediately switch and its contacts 8, 7 will turn on the sound signal. Relay K3 will remain energized if the triggered switch contacts are open. When the driver's door opens, contacts S4 close, the sound signal will turn on only after 8-15 seconds. This time is enough for the driver to turn off the signaling device. The specified time delay is provided by the time relay. When the contacts S4 is closed, relay K2 is activated and self-blocking with contacts 3, 5. At the same time, these contacts are connected to the body with a common negative wire of the time relay. Capacitor C2 starts charging through resistor R1. Transistors V7 and V9 are closed.

When the voltages at the capacitor C2 and at the source of the transistor V7 are equal, the transistors V7 and V9 will open and relay K3 will operate. Diode V5 serves to discharge the capacitor C2 after the relay K3 is activated, which is necessary to prepare the signaling device for the next cycle of operation.

The time relay is assembled according to the bridge circuit. The time delay created by such a relay practically does not change when the supply voltage changes in the range from 10 to 14 V. Diodes V3, V4, V6 and V10 eliminate voltage surges that occur in the relay windings when they are turned off, protecting the contacts. buttons S3 from burning, and transistor V9 from breakdown.

The decoupling diode V11 allows, after turning on the signaling device, to exit the car through any door, as well as to close the doors first, and then the trunk or hood, which in some cases can be convenient. Diodes V8, V12 prevent unwanted connections of the signaling device with the positive output of the power source through the lamps H4, H5.

Contacts K1-2 are designed to block the ignition system. If you include them in series in the circuit of the breaker, the circuit of the latter will be opened after switching the device to the armed mode. It is possible to block the ignition system by shorting the output of the breaker to the housing (by connecting it to terminal 4 of the watchdog). A capacitor with a capacity of 10 ... 20 microfarads for a voltage of at least 100 V can be connected in series to this circuit. Then it will be even more difficult to figure out how to connect the ignition correctly.

The signaling device uses the RPS-32 relay (passport RS4.520.221), the RES-10 relay (passport RS4.524.303). With independent manufacture of the RPS-32 relay device, it can be replaced with RPS-20 (passport RS4.521.752 or RS4.521.762) or relay RES-10 (passport RS4.524.308). You can use diodes of the KD105 or D226 series with any letter indices.

On Zhiguli cars, the signaling device is installed in the engine compartment next to the expansion tank.

Before getting out of the car, you need to make sure that with the doors, trunk and hood closed, the ceiling lamps are not lit, and then turn on the signaling device. The side indicator lamp on the left front fender of the car should be on. After closing all the doors, this lamp goes out, which indicates that the alarm system is working.

After entering the car, turn off the S8 toggle switch no later than 1 seconds later. The indicator will turn off, but the ignition system will remain blocked. To return the signaling device to its original position and unlock the ignition system, after turning off the S1 toggle switch, press the S3 button.
